- Amber S2 contributionsJackie was super informative and fun! Guinness was packed out but she still kept up with everyone. Jameson was not as hectic. Both tours were super fun, really glad we went and had such an awesome tour guide! There will be some walking involved maybe a mile or so. And it lasted about 4 hours, depending how long you wanted to stay at Guinness. Gavan O'Conner-Duffy (can you get more Irish than that?) was a wealth of information and offered numerous suggestions and recommendations for the remainder of our Dublin adventure. My daughter Jennifer and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone spending time in Dublin. Awesome tour guide, very sweet, lots of fun facts about Dublin along with the history. It was a rainy chilly morning but she kept us moving briskly and out of the rain as best as possible. Food was Awesome!! Full Irish breakfast with bangers and sausage, irish coffees, then Fish & Chips from the oldest in Dublin, Guiness Stew and a pint in a pub and then delicious gelato!! We were very full!! Im a solo woman traveler and I was introduced to new friends and they were taking care of me and all of them assuring not only my safety but that I have I lovely time at the bar afterwards

Shane did a wonderful job entertaining the group with stories and teaching us traditional Irish songs. The pubs visited were all different and the locals, as promised were very friendly and welcoming.
We've done quite a few city tours on various travels, but this tour with Shane was far the best. He encouraged everyone to participate on the bus ride to and from each pub. This made for a very friendly atmosphere with our fellow beer drinkers.Kudos to Shane for remembering all of our names! My husband, friend, her husband and I took a trip on March 16, 2023 (our first full day in Dublin) and had a great time. It's a great way to get familiar with the city or see different highlights, learn more about Dublin/Ireland, and have some laughs along the way. Our host, Daniel, driver Liam, and Selma & Dev made the trip easy and entertaining. Even better - the tea and food is DELICIOUS! Our group didn't need lunch after, that's for sure. - Cathy DSt Austell, UK411 contributionsWhat can I say? We had such a wonderful experience. Our host Heather was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable person to host this tour. I deliberately call her a host, because for me she was much more than just a tour guide. She spoke not only with knowledge but with passion which was infectious.
The group was a perfect size (8) and it felt like we all got along so well, which added to such a fun tour around some of Dublin’s best kept secrets. We were shown where the Leprechaun museum is ( it was closed), and no more needs to be said 😜
Our first stop, Vice coffee, made such an impact on us and was so good, we went back the following day. In fact every stop had nothing but positives. I discovered coddle as part of the best lunch experience we’ve ever had.
We have been to Dublin a number of times and have done a lot of tours/ walks etc but this has to be one of my favourites.
If you want to learn some Irish history and discover some “ foodie gems” 5 in all, I highly recommend this tour. - Louise M2 contributionsOne of the most fun evenings to be found anywhere in the world, but only in Dublin! Ann is a fantastic host. She is so warm, welcoming and fun to be around. She has a incredible talent for food, hospitality and bringing a group of strangers together.
The evening was filled with delicious food, great conversation and so many laughs. It is incredible value for the experience, the cooking lessons (plus a great irish coffee lesson!), the recipe book, the beautiful meal and drinks. Kevin was funny, insightful and so knowledgeable. The tour is so well thought out and combines the history of Dublin, funny stories and great food perfectly. We bumped into Kevin at one of his recommendations while he was doing his drinking tour, and on the brief experience we had of this I would recommend checking that out also. After a distillery tour earlier in my Dublin trip, I wasn't even sure I liked whiskey, but this experience changed my mind. Andrew does a great job explaining the differences of the whiskeys and how pairing them with different foods (cheeses, fruit, chocolate) can bring out different flavors. I had a really delightful evening, thoroughly enjoyed the food, and found a few whiskeys I liked too. This is an experience not to be missed. I highly recommend and have already started telling my friends to book this if they plan on traveling to Dublin. Keith is extremely passionate about Guinness and it shows - we experienced some of the best pints Dublin has to offer at some great and unique pubs around the city. Keith has some great stories and shares his knowledge to explain why this iconic Irish beer has played such an important role in Irish history and culture and become a symbol of Ireland around the world. - AD72775 contributionsThis was our first visit to Ireland and Shane was our guide and driver throughout this really excellent road trip outside of Dublin. It was a wonderful experience where we got to sample a bit of Irish hospitality and humour across three different pubs. We met some of the locals, and everyone of them couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming, as well seeing local musicians display their talents. Shane knows all the best places to drink in Dublin down to the last detail and is very knowledgeable about the best tipples in Ireland and what to avoid.
