- Freez1672Paris, France87 contributionsWe were recommanded to get to the Cobblestone to enjoy real Irish music in a real traditional pub atmosphere. We absolutely loved it.
Our kids were with us and discovered Irish kindness and happiness. Locals were nice with the despite the pub being crowded.
I loved mixing music and chatting with the locals I met.
A basque signer even joined for a short while the musicians.
It was a great moment!

- SmilenOne1Naples, Italy36 contributionsThis place looks relatively small from the outside, but it's huge! It has a courtyard when you first walk in, mostly for people only ordering drinks. It also has several rooms with smaller tables downstairs, likely for drinks and appetizers. We got a table upstairs which was nice and quiet. On the menu were a grilled chicken burger, fish and chips, and guinness stew. The food was just ok in my opinion. Reasonably priced and comparable to other pubs in Dublin. Plenty of local beers to choose from. Waitstaff was friendly and service was pretty fast. A tourist stop for sure, as this is the oldest pub in Dublin!Written April 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- LCL76Manchester, UK7 contributionsGreat place, friendly staff. Visited a few times last week. First heard about the place when Brian Johnson interviewed Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott here. Shame they didn't have Louder in stock! Love the beer bottle walls, really cosy pub with good music. The irish stew was super tasty and really enjoyed the Temple lager. Our waiters were all lovely and welcomed us back on our second visit. Loved that. Happy for us to go up to closed section to see the copper kettle too. Strict covid measures in place. 👍Written September 13, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
