We had a fantastic time today seeing some beautiful birds, we would highly recommend a visit to ‘Falconry Kerry’.
Liam was a gentle and knowledgeable falconer and told us fascinating stories about his birds of prey.

Lovely walk around, loads of beautiful rescued donkeys to rub and a very safe picnic area.
I chose to adopt Julie Anne the donkey for just €25 for 12 months, so glad to know that the money will be going toward the welfare of one of these beautiful animals.

A hearty ramble to see the cliffs and stunning scenery around such as puffin island etc. Windy as it could be but didn’t detract from a wonderful time
Yes, you have to pay to get in, but the foot paths are paved, in excellent condition, the place is immaculate, and there's plenty of parking.

I have always loved and been fascinated by owls and to stand so close to them and to get the unbelievable chance to hold the most handsome barn owl was so humbling and dream come true for me.
By far the best experience of our stay at Trabolgan, getting to see all the beautiful owls Sam was amazing very friendly and made the kids so comfortable holding the owls while having they're photos taking.

The trip to Garnish begins in the lovely town of Glengarriff, a short and pleasant boat ride takes you alongside a colony of seals to the island, the gardens are lush and peaceful, a gardeners dream I imagine not...
