- phillipdoyle275 contributionsWow what a racecourse! The setting is amazing and a visit is highly recommended for any racegoer. We had tickets in the Panoramic Restaurant which was superb. The food was first class and plenty of staff for regular service to the table. Lovely having a balcony overlooking the course too. - Carrie884497 contributionsWe booked an evening at the races with dinner. Unfortunately we were on the upper level so the view of the track was not as good as on the lower level. Dinner was delicious with a nice choice for each course. Service was good and tote betting at the table was great. The children were given menus with puzzles and colouring pencils, a form greyhound and a colourful race card for them to enter the winnings - which was a nice touch. The dinner package is great value.

1 - The chips you gain for the subscription can't be exchanged for smaller chips. So no, with the 30 euros chips you will not be able to play 30 times on the table, just 3 times (you gain three 10 euro chips) BUUUUUT what you can do is place this chip on the Black/Red at the Roulette, so you have 50/50 chances of winning and then you can exchange your chips.
2 - The website mention that the bets start at 0,50 cents, but that is for the machines. If you plan to play on the roulette, minimum bet is 1 euro for numbers, 5 euros for columns/dozens and 10 euros for collors.

Stand around outside and watch the horses out galloping in training -- you get great views. Like being in a Dick Francis novel. There were also a few stalls selling clothes and accessories. You cant beat a wee bet on the Tote! This was such a fun experience seeing the landscapes, the horses and all the ladies dressed for the event. Every aspect of this venue was first class. All the staff were so friendly and offered excellent service. Value for money for the experience on offer is outstanding. Carvery Meal was great, bar service excellent with great prices, but best of all was the view of the racecourse from anywhere in the stands. We have visited over 50 racecourses in the UK, Northern Ireland and France, but the warm welcome and experience at Mallow/Cork races was the best yet.
