He was really knowledgeable about all the flora, fauna and history of the estate as well as providing lots of interesting facts about the Monarch of the Glen show and some hilarious anecdotes about highland life!
Fantastic time with Grant and his encyclopaedic knowledge of the area, plus of course great fun on the quad bikes and breathtakingly beautiful scenery.

We arrived early and we were warmly greeted by our instructor, max, who was brilliant throughout the two hours, he was friendly, informative and made an effort to speak to everyone and remembered our names!
Amazing scenery, adrenalin rushing for the first few zips, but always felt safe, then we all relaxed and loved every moment of it.

After a struggle getting into wetsuits and other safety equipment, it was a short drive in your own vehicle to another car park near activity site (they will transport you if you have none).
A walk up to the start point and getting tubing, I fell in a few times but it's really good fun.

What can I say a sublime days walking Beautiful setting with snow capped mountains in the distance This is well worth doing if you are in the area 1.3 mile route around the Loch is peaceful and serene The car park...
... and chatted to the chap who takes the entrance fee who is very knowledgeable about the area.. Enjoyed a lovely walk around the loch and visit to the little shop...so quaint...just a truly beautiful place

Knowledgeable and passionate guide introduced us to a herd of 41 reindeer, after a hike, before which you need to drive 5mins from the visitor centre to the "sugar bowl car park".
Highlight of our trip to Aviemore, well organised and professional, fabulous experience getting so close to these wonderful animals.

Great places to walk dogs and ride bikes, marked red blue and green trails (not by difficulty), woods next to Spey, woodland scenery is amazing
red squirrels, crested tits, crossbills ( and parrot crossbill) waxwings,plus the usual suspects, and a 500 metre walk from the Grant Arms hotel, with a lovely river walk extension with dippers
