- James J6 contributionsAn excellent day trip last Sunday with George from North Berwick, around The Bass Rock with a mixed ability group. George is extremely approachable and was happy to share his expert advice on Sea Kayaking, kayak's equipment etc. The kayaks and equipment provided were excellent and this added to the experience. I cannot recommend Dun Eideann more highly! An amazing kayaking experience.Written August 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NiamhW16Edinburgh, UK1 contributionFabulous afternoon on our first paddle boarding outing on Union Canal with the guys from Driftwood Adventures. Communication with Hugo was great before our activity, and Niall was a wonderful instructor. All the kit included was of a great standard. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking another paddle boarding adventure with them in the future!Written July 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Theresa H5 contributionsWe did many things during our 2 week vacation to the UK, but nothing that stands out quite like our day tour of the Highlands with Ray.
From the time he picked us up to when he dropped us off, he brought his passion and enthusiasm while sharing the history, music, languages and landscape of Scotland. When booking with Ray, we shared with him our interests and from there he created a custom day trip just for us. We saw countless castles, kirks and lochs while discovering the landscape not only for its beauty but also its historical impact and appearance in tv and movies. Ray is a storyteller at heart and will transport you back in time with music and the tales he shares.
If you are looking for the best tour guide in Scotland, look no further than Ray. With no hesitation, we will be booking with him again when we return to Scotland. Thank you Ray for the best experience we could ask for and we look forward to seeing you again!Written March 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Pretty calm, even in >20knots easterly blow. Downside is showers and toilets are a long walk from the marina and in portacabins. Bit of a long walk if caught short!Written April 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
