Will Robb of Iconic Tours couldn’t have been a better tour guide for my family and myself on our February 2023 trip to Scotland. He drove us from Edinburgh to see the Fifth of Forth Bridge, Hairy Coos (cows), The Kelpies, Trossachs National Park , Loch Lomand, Glencoe, Oban and included a few castles along the way, before dropping us off in Glasgow. We spent an overnight at the Loch Leven Hotel which he had recommended. The hotel was charming and our dinner at their restaurant was most enjoyable.
Will was fun to be with and provided lots of historical information along the way. He’s also a wonderful photographer.
Scotland is a beautiful place to visit and our time spent with Will was truly the highlight!

Gary was knowledgeable, personable, delightful and an overall Star Man! Gary/Iconic tours are the best way to see Scotland. The tour was intimate, and Gary was well prepared to take on four southerners.
    Thank you Gary.

This is a must do if you’re in Edinburgh for a few nights. Rick the MC was excellent at warming up the audience and had us in stitches before the acts came on. The two acts were also first class. First up was a young Scottish comedian and the main act was Danny O’Brien who was absolutely brilliant. Two hours of alcoholic laughter, great way to spend the late night.

Chris was an exceptional guide and made the experience memorable, educational, and special. He is a great story teller and easy to be around - super knowledgeable and had great recommendations. We had an amazing tour that kept our 9-year-old and 13-year-old engaged (snowball fights in the Highlands also helped with that). Thank you, Chris!

We had an amazing tour with Chris. He was very knowledgeable, organized a fantastic itinerary, and was great company. All the logistics were very simple, and Chris was very flexible as the plan evolved throughout the day. He made sure that the day was great for adults and kids alike and even took an extra detour to find some highland cattle at the end of the day. Highly recommended!

Just came back from a wonderful guys' trip to Scotland. The journey became more remarkable because of Andrew. He made our trip extremely comfortable with no rush, stopping wherever we wanted, customizing as needed, and constantly asking for feedback, innovative places, and ideas to make things memorable. He took us to places that regular tourists don't go or know about. He finds his way to facilitate our requirements. His knowledge of Scotland and its history will give a sharp challenge to any historian. He will ensure you have a trip you remember for years to come. Most importantly, his smile and being a wonderful person will give you the comfort of being in good hands and a trip with no worries. I highly recommend taking trips with Andrew as then you are not only just having fun and going for a trip, but also you will be building great memories that will stay for years to come.

We thoroughly enjoyed Andrew’s guidance thru the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. He took us to places we never would have visited on our own and he provided amazing history and folk lore that truly made our adventure unique. He’s the real deal if you want an authentic Scottish experience.

We actually had 2 iconic tours during the Scotland leg of our family trip. The walking tour of London was good. We had 5 adults and 6 children and were with Gillian. She was informative and nice. We also had a driving tour with Chris. He was great. He let us ask questions and direct the conversation on our way to St. Andrews. Unfortunately, as we were pulling into the beautiful town, my 4 year old threw up due to the windy road in. Chris and the bus driver couldn't have been more kind. Chris directed me to the public bathroom where we could wash up and sent my husband to the golf shop to buy replacement clothing for our little guy. Our tour was a bit delayed, but he didn't mind at all and gave us a delightful tour of the golf course, the university and the old cathedral grounds before dropping us for our lunch reservation and collecting us for a last photo opportunity of the Old Course. Thank you Chris!

This was a last minute decision by us to try and gain a day of sightseeing and ended up a highlight of our trip. Andrew showed us areas that we would never have seen, from beautiful dales, to majestic mountain passes. He knew the area inside and out and was more than happy to adjust to suit what worked for us (such as an impromptu stop for a snowball fight for our youngest who had never seen snow!)

His van was incredibly comfortable and provided snacks for everyone too. As well, the sheer ease of being collected and dropped off directly at your next stay was well worth it.

    Highly recommend!

What a great experience through Scotland! Chris was such a great informative and accommodating driver. He was very flexible and open to a few fun things I wanted to do on my first visit to Scotland. I would highly recommend Monarch Tours and I am already excited about my next trip back to Scotland!

If you are running short on time and patience and still want to visit Loch Ness from Edinburgh, then this is the right choice for you because the tour is customized for you along with all the stops that you like within the allotted time of the itinerary. The driver is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. You are picked up from your hotel in the morning and then dropped off to your hotel in the evening making this a very enjoyable and mind you relaxing trip. The car is very comfortable and worth the trip to Loch ness especially because you have a car all to yourself.
