Personable staff provided tons of information about the history of the harbor and it was fun to cruise under the three bridges and then by the castle (which was a key location for any Outlander fans). We got lucky with the weather and after the 90 minute boat trip, enjoyed drinks and food at the nearby Scotts. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the sail and they had nothing but great things to say on our drive home. We did 3-4 hours of sailing, stopped for lunch in Oban and then continued for another 3-4 hours of sailing in the afternoon. We were allowed to be hands on and get involved in the activity as much or as little as we liked. Very welcoming and accommodating. We booked a private tour, rather than a small group, as we wanted to visit my husband's family farm and his grandfather's gravesite. Barney organized the day so we could that, as well as still hit the more typical sites we wanted to see. He was really knowledgeable and easy going (while still keeping us on track). He has so many fun stories and was very patient and accommodating of my teens who wanted to listen to the new Taylor Swift album all day (the in-car chargers were a huge hit!) He managed it make it enjoyable for all us... quite the feat.
