- ldjsFort Lee, NJ657 contributionsBeautiful campus, we mostly focused on medical faculty, old hospital wards and pathology department.
Amazing how much the graduates have contributed just in the field of medicine.
The campus is beautiful and expansive, walkable everywhere. Great mixture of history and modernity.
Nice park to walk through as well.
McEwan hall is beautiful and we caught a glimpse of the graduation ceremony there.
Definitely make a part of your tour of Edinburgh.Written April 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is guarded by a gatehouse, in the middle of urban central Edinburgh. It was established in 1628 as George Heriot's Hospital, by bequest of the royal goldsmith George Heriot, and opened in 1659. The school is a turreted building surrounding a large quadrangle, and built out of sandstone. The main building of the school is the work of William Wallace. The north gatehouse onto Lauriston Place is by William Henry Playfair and dates from 1829.The main building was the first large building to be constructed outside the Edinburgh city walls. The school has its charm.Written September 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- SWBSydney, Australia1,138 contributionsI had the eggs royale with smoked salmon. They came out on some tiny muffins and I was left feeling hungry afterwards. 11 quid I thought was pricey for what it was.
Chai late was excellent though.Written August 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
