- Sarah G1 contributionSuch a wonderful way to spend an evening! The puppies came to us, as we had a big group, and it was just fantastic. The puppies were all happy and well cared for, and the staff were wonderful. The venue was left really clean too 🙂Written March 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- moosharEdinburgh, UK27 contributionsI recommend to anyone keen on yoga to go and try a class at Hot Yoga Edinburgh. There are options given for all levels. The team there are always welcoming and friendly, the classes are varied and expertly delivered, the studio is bright, clean and comfortable to attend. I tried arial yoga which was fun! My relative has attended there and she also loves this studio!Written July 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lee RGlasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom2 contributionsIncredible day out for me and my wife , we had such a laugh and really enjoyed ourselves the humans were great and the goats were on top form. The place itself is a great spot to get away from city life.

- robelew2017Edinburgh, UK1 contributionFriendly and relaxed. Switched on staff. Never did yoga before until I booked my one on one session with Lee who got me motivated. Classes are great. Would highly recommend Canning Street Yoga.Written September 18, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sandy MEdinburgh, UK30 contributionsThis is the place to go in Edinburgh for yoga tuition. While a lot of other places do great yoga sessions, in this place the teachers teach, in wonderful detail, the intricacies of Iyengar yoga. Great classes, great teachers, great place!Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- puppysapphoEdinburgh, UK3 contributionsSince there is no other online anon feedback contact info for pleasance, thought id leave it here. I love the facilities. I come almost everyday. Great prices
Some constructive criticism-
The same 20 songs on the speakers is very hard to endure for a regular. I prefer to not have to work with headphones in, but the background music is so repetitive that im going insane!
Also i wish the staff was more approachable. Whenever i come with a question, i feel like i get a bare minimum of an answer. Even if they are friendly, i often feel like the advise i will be getting is going to be half assedWritten December 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Re-: physiotherapy appointment of 22nd of August 2022 with Hannah Worsley.
My whole experience was excellent; from a very early phone call to offer a same day appointment to expert and professional treatment from Hannah.
To give context; I recently lost my father to Cancer and on the 21st August set off on a previously arranged family holiday hoping this would give some much needed recovery time and space.
As I packed a bag into our car I pulled my back and by the time we reached Edinburgh was in a lot of pain; unable to walk more than a few steps without serious pain and collapsing legs.
I was really considering that I might have to abandon the holiday and take a train home, leaving my wife and son to continue without me.
I searched around Physiotherapy services and left messages with a few.
The receptionist at Edinburgh called me really early - before the office was officially open - and offered me an appointment that morning.
This was a huge relief and I felt that at least I had a hope of continuing with my holiday.
I then was seen at Bernard’s Row in Edinburgh. I was made very welcome and assisted by the fabulous and friendly lady on reception as I struggled to get around.
I was then seen by Hannah Worsley for my therapy.
She was very warm and welcoming also, making me feel comfortable and comfortable and confident from the outset.
She was efficient and a great communicator; keeping me informed about the area of injury and the therapy she was using.
The session was exceptionally thorough and she gave me a whole set of exercises that I continue using still to maintain my back.
I had a fantastic holiday in Edinburgh, Islay and Glasgow and would ask you pass on my thanks and regards to Hannah and the rest of the team for rescuing me and my holiday.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, all at Balanced.Written September 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I found the Tribe Yoga Quartermile studio. I had a great experience emailing with one of the Tribe staff who answered my questions about taking two back-to-back yoga classes, and who even suggested I purchase the Intro 3-pack pass, which would save me money in the long run, especially if I could squeeze in a third class, which I decided to do.
Sophie was the instructor for the two warm flow classes I selected. I'm a yoga instructor who doesn't take others' classes often, and I really enjoyed Sophie's style. The studio was clean and the atmosphere inviting. I made sure that Sophie wouldn't be doing any hands on adjusting (I don't enjoy being touched) or that if they did, it wasn't something that I wanted. I was assured that I would not be touched and could be left alone to be in my body and enjoy the practice. I really thoroughly did.
There are lockers you can use (for free), plus a changing room that has showers and additional lockers. There are restrooms and mats/sweat towels are provided. There's also a water station and a nice "chill out" spot near the reception. I felt like I could ask questions and get them answers, and I also felt that the staff was really helpful to other new yoga students and/or first time customers to the studio.
If you're visiting and want to experience a yoga class in a friendly environment, I recommend this location. I cannot speak to other Tribe locations since this is the only one I attended.Written March 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I went to the Yin and Candelite classes.
Unfortunately the studio is so packed with Yogis that you hardly have room to do the postures. I would have loved when the teachers also correct people but it looked mainly as they just used it for their own practice.
Feedback was given to the instructor and she agreed and said to forward an Email to Tribe. No response whatsoever.
For a month it was acceptable, however I would not subsrice to any classes anymore until they make classes smaller and reduce the monthly prices.Written September 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The rooms are cozy (read: smallish) -- call ahead to make sure the classes are not already full. Knowledgeable staff, and having a class available on a Sunday is great. I believe they've added a cafe next door with all sorts of good-for-you foods, like COFFEE!! - I mean, refreshing drinks and treats that will revive you after yoga.Written March 5, 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
