Clean. Friendly staff. Timely. The only improvement would be the instructions on how to reach the bus. It left from a point 2 blocks away from where the service asked us to meet

Well worth the money and exceeded expectations. I had the vegetarian option and sandwiches and cakes were really nice. Staff also very good and attentive and Leona was a great commentator.

Your was really interesting and informative! Nicole (our guide) was very knowledgable and made it a very enjoyable experience. As well as the tour, we were also able to make our own chocolate bar and do a chocolate tasting session

Tour was informative and the drivers are kind. I give this your a 4/5 because of this of your first time doing this type of tor it can be confusing since there’s no instructions on how, or where to catch a bus- or how to identify one of the bus stops. The ticket only comes with the address of the first stop

Meeting people from other parts of the world and learning their perspectives on our customs, traditions and culinary dishes. Very interesting taking a food tour in our local city.

Skye was a great guide.

The bus was very comfortable even for such a long trip. Keith is an extremely knowledgable guide and was able to answer questions about places we visited and about Scottis history beyond the established routine. He was also considerate of the needs of the people on the tour, making sure we had all the amenities including food and comfort stops.

This was an absolutely entertaining (and tasty) experience - even for a vegetarian! I've never done a walking tour or a food tour before and I can't believe what I've been missing.

Our guide was fun, witty, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable.

Will be doing this again my next trip to Scotland and will be looking up walking food tours in every city I visit going forward!

An absolute shambles of an event. Sadly we were misguided when booking this pub crawl, being under the assumption that it would be a good craic tour with an offering of "party hard with the best guides in the world". The "best guides in the world" made it very clear this was not to be the case, with any threat of attention being taken off them a mortal sin- it felt like allowing 2 dud uncles tag along on a night out but having to pay for their drinks for the pleasure.
Save yourself the fee (and ear ache) and do your own tour, with all Edinburgh's great watering holes on the doorstep on the pub crawls starting spot.

Our tour of Edinburgh with Debbie was our favorite afternoon of our trip. Our trip was just before Covid hit in Nov 2019, and our kids still talk about it. Debbie showed us her town, and gave us a great history tour as well as a food tour. We went back to a couple of the places that she showed us during our tour. We had such fun and would recommend her to anyone!

This tour has 3 different and unique distilleries. Macallan was a must see for us and when you add Glenfiddich and Glenlivet it was a win. Each one was different enough to make the day interesting, fun and educational. I would not miss Glenlivet or Macallan. Ewan was a fantastic host, kept us on time, knowledgeable on the distilleries, shared his Scotland with us and pointed out “sight-seeing” opportunities as we drove through the Highlands. Prepare for a long day, but worth the investment if learning and experiencing the Scotch making process and history is important to you. The Highlands scenery was a bonus-beautiful country!

Just got home from our 2 day tour to Inverness and the Highlands with Keith as our tour guide and we had the most amazing time ever. From the very beginning it was evident that Keith was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Scotland and the locations he took us to. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know that is coming to Scotland, you truly see so much in such a short amount of time. Had a wonderful weekend learning about Scotland, you should book this tour if you're looking for an easy way to see the highlands. Keith went above and beyond and was always so helpful. He even sang an old Scottish song for us, I will never forget these moments. They're truly what I came to Scotland for, and that's what I got with the Heart of Scotland tours!

This tour was amazing and I cannot recommend it enough! A good mix of natural vistas, whisky and beautiful little highland towns. The tour was obviously planned meticulously to enhance time off the bus. Stops were regular and you had ample time to check out the sights. Our tour guide was Duncan and I cannot sing his praises enough. Genuinely cared about everyone’s comfort, had excellent story telling and historical knowledge skills and was a great human - he even bought one of the guests a cupcake as it was her birthday!

This specific tour included going to The Hermitage which wasn’t even on my radar previously - it was a stand out of my entire trip. The Scottish landscape is just breath taking. The Rabbie’s buses are also very comfortable, clean and they take covid precautions seriously. Can’t recommend this company and this tour enough. Just book it!

Entertaining for children and adults alike. Beautiful castle and well preserved and looked after. Harry Potter highlights is a big attraction.
The rooms are exquisite and the volunteers are always willing to explain what why and therefore.Nothing to much trouble. Parking is adequate too.
There are a variety of things to do eg try your hand at archery.
Not cheap by any imagination but as a nation we need to support our heritage. It was a chilly day for the time of the year so wrap up well if you go .

Kristel was very well informed on cheeses, their origins, and the best places to get them around Edinburgh! Best cheese and tour I've ever had, 10/10, would and have recommended to others.

We did this tour with Nick, a very enthusiastic storyteller who took us on an amazing journey. He was careful about toilet stops, temperature & other practical things and he was always keen to make us feel more comfortable. We had an awesome day of no rain and it even snowed just when we did the stop in the waterfall of a small town called Killin, just as if had been scripted. As it was winter and the Doune castle wasn't open, there were slight changes on the route, but they were genuinely great. The only thing I'd change is the Kelpies, impressive, yet not that interesting. Also, Nick's account of queen Mary's story was compelling, full of suspense and charm, he said he'd worked in radio and it does feel as if the whole trip is his own private show. 100% recommended!

Hello Steven H.! (From Outlander tour 12.-13.09)

I hope that your promises are the truth and you read every review of your Tours on Tripadvisor (if not I‘ll travel back through the stones and catch you 😉)
I have to say that this Highland Experience tour was the highlight of the year, if not even my life! The memories of this breathtaking journey will never die, unlike the men on Culloden Battelfield (prayers to them).
I, as the biggest Outlander fan of this century, can truely say that you, Steven H., look exactly like James A. M. M. Fraser. The likeness is almost creepy. You cute little redhead! If you decide to visit Sweden one day, you‘ll be my Sassenach.

With Love
Irene (and daughter) from Sweden

What a fabulous day trip from Edinburgh. We got a great mix of getting to see some wilds of Scotland away from the city, and going to the lovely Glengoyne. From the research I did, and from our tour guide, this is a great alternative to a tour all the way to Loch Ness, which is why we chose it. We got to really spend time at lovely places, Stirling castle had GOREGOUS views, and didn't spend all day in the car. We had Ewan as our tour guide, and he was AMAZING! He really listened to what we wanted to do, and even took us to get sandwiches instead of to a pub, so that we could maximize our sightseeing time. We really enjoyed our tour, and would easily recommend to our friends.

Stephen was a very personable, fun, professional tour guide. Unfortunately due to construction as well as unforeseen circumstances, some parts of the trip were canceled and he had to improvise last minute to find alternatives. Sometimes the best adventures are the unexpected ones! Our group had fun laughing the entire time and making some great memories, keeping things flexible along the way. We even made a new friend that we booked a different tour with! Thank you Stephen. Hopefully you give the Outlander series another chance some day ;)

Brilliant day trip - strongly recommend booking! A must if you visit Edinburgh.
We wanted to explore outside of edinburgh for the day and this was ideal. Booking was so easy. The pick up point super central. Rich and the team very welcoming. We spent the day visiting the kelpies, Loch Lomond and Stirling castle. Rich did an amazing job with engaging and informative commentary spliced with some tunes!
If you have a spare day - book this tour! You won’t regret it!
