What travelers are saying
- Julie GEdinburgh, UK28 contributionsI have been going here on a regular basic and realise I have been taking it completely for granted until I had a dreadful experience at a pretentious and shambolic fleapit (Everyman at Saint James Centre).
This place is the exact opposite. Easy to buy tickets, easy access, the staff are incredibly helpful. Even the smallest screens are large and easily viewed while the bigger screens are enormous.
The entrance hall is a bit like an aircraft hanger, but you don't get pestered or charged for incredibly expensive and inedible extras like at Everyman.
I won't be going back to Everyman, but we will certainly going back often to Odeon Fort Kinnaird.Written June 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We parked in the multi storey car park and got a superb view for where we were parked. Getting into the shopping centre itself was more difficult with the lifts not stopping on all floors and the direction signs weren't the best. The centre itself was very dark and dreary with not a lot of shops and cafes. It needs some attentionWritten August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Scottish-Hidden-Gems🏴💎Ayrshire, UK6,527 contributionsThere is a wide selection of shops and restaurants within St james Quarter, some good and some not.
I think that many shops have moved here from the high street as many units are empty, which isn't great.
They do however have some great facilities such as being very pet friendly and having dog prams to hire. We even seen someone with a cat. Wish more places were like this.
Some good points and some bad points but not the best shopping centre I've visited.Written December 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Primarily because the young ones can't stop talking about their experience with the bungee dome, interactive theatre and treats. Us adults sampled almost all the diverse foods and it's debatable whom had a better time, safe environment with pristine view of the Castle, the organizers are to be commended for this festival that really gives great value. Great place to shop for unique craft, jewellery etc as well. Live bands dailyWritten July 25, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - david nManchester, UK4,570 contributionsNot really a shopping centre to be honest. Just a collection of several shops on one floor of the train station (plus a food court below). Still a couple of high end shops and a small Sainsbury's.Written December 16, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew BEdinburgh, UK5 contributionsThe main cafe had slow poor service from its coffee area. Although ordered before hot food, two flat whites took so long, the food was cold by the time we reached a table. The coffee was good, but was handed to us spilt in the saucer.Written April 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
