I visit every time I’m in Edinburgh. The market is held every Sunday starting at 10am. I recommend a walk along the water of leith walkway, starting near the National Galleries of Scotland through Dean Village until you reach Stockbridge. From paella to mead and anything in between Stockbridge Market is a foodie delight. It’s the place to find souvenirs or interesting gifts for family, friends or yourself, that you won’t find on the Royal Mile. Stockbridge also has an array of cafes and boutiques to explore.

Not a large market but has a good range of businesses & products, lovely location next to the castle and well arranged. Certainly worth a visit for both locals & tourists.

A lucky find for lunch in Leith. We stumbled on this place by chance, initially for coffee and stayed on for food. The coffee could have been hotter, but the food from Rost was amazing - pheasant burger and venison burger both delicious and the best fries ever - crispy and So good with oregano seasoning. We will be back 😊

Mostly non veg options, but pastries are good. The best is museum which requires a minimum 3-4 hours for seeing everything

Popped in for a look and quickly popped out again. Such a shame to see such a beautiful old building being used to sell tat...

This is not a flea market is it ! you are not going to find any family clearing out their garage here, only has what seems like regular traders. A blatant mis use of the Flea Market description designed to trick the tourists which for some reason includes many Japanese. Its OK but dont expect a flea market though my wife was surprised at the reasonable price of the jewellery she purchased, I walked round in five minutes and spent the rest of the time waiting in cafe for my wife.
Only reasonably sized flea market in Edinburgh now is Ocean Terminal on a Sunday morning but even it has its good days and bad thought at least you can get a bargain there and you do get a family clearing out their attics/garages etc.
