This shopping mall is adjacent and joins on to the railway station.

Good selection of shops. If your staying at Jury’s Inn (which is inside the mall) the shop next to Subways offers great breakfasts (as hotel restaurant not operating).

Plenty of choices to eat if you don’t want to venture outside. Other regular stores such as boots, supermarkets etc. Bus station joins into the mall on the opposite side.

Decided to have look round the Bon-Accord centre since coming out of Quarantine, and wished I hadn't bothered. There were people walking round the shops with face Masks under their noses, some had them under their chins, and quite a lot had no masks on at all. People were not adhering to the one way system which is clearly highlighted with arrows, people were walking towards each other, crossing in front of them, and not bothering with the space system.

In some shops the social distancing was a mockery with no control all, but in some shops Personal were advising the public of their responsibilities.

Back to the shops remaining open...very few, A lot is being blamed on Covid but a lot of shops in Aberdeen were being shut down long before the emergence of Covid. You only have to look at Union Street and surrounding streets to see the under investment by Aberdeen City Council, the city Centre is in a poor state. Year after year we hear the same story that Millions is going to be invested in the City centre, and yes we are still waiting for this to happen. Perhaps it's time for ABERDEEN INSPIRED to try and do what they were formed to do...make Aberdeen a recognised city again.

What we are hearing at the moment is a lot of People will be travelling to Livingston shopping centre, and the Central belt to do shopping, this is what Aberdonians did 20 to 30 years ago. I appreciate some shops in the mentioned areas have also closed but not to the extent we have experienced.

When are we going to see change? It will take a lot more than revamping Union Street gardens!

Excellent place / shop to visit a wide range of things to choose from including Furniture,, Porcelain, Jewelry, Memorabilia, Maritime, curiosity's Nautical instruments and lots lots more.

Easy to find walking distance from Aberdeen City center handy for Local transport and of course the main thing access to parking right out side the main door of the shop.

Sole Trader Frances is especially a very nice and pleasant woman

Look forward to calling in again Soon

    Sorry for the short review

The mall is a shadow of its former glory. A few reasonable shops such as Debenhams, Primark, Card Factory and HMV.
Greggs is here for a sandwich.
Stalls are set out here but it is now also used as a corridor to Union Square.

Sadly this independent Gallery is no more as a direct result of Brexit the couple running this enterprise have returned to Poland. I would like to wish them all the luck in the World.

We knew nothing about the craft gallery at Milton, but we missed our turning into Crathes castle on the opposite side of the road and were pleased to see the inviting sign luring us into the gallery. The gallery stocks some very special work by Scottish craftsmen, and we found ourselves tempted to buy several pieces. The quality is good, and we thought very reasonable for what it is.

Wonderfully attractive display of Scottish artists in the window drew me in. However, sales assistant didn’t know much about the artist or how to get unframed but numbered prints. Tried to buy a pair of sculptures albeit inexpensive and had the impression perhaps unfounded that the server couldn’t have cared less why a customer would take a fancy to the pieces and rather unceremoniously wrapped them up in bubble wrap as requested and when asked for a bag said the gallery felt no need to supply bags for small items. It was as though they seldom sold any. Server did check prices and found there was a sale on the items which brought the price down so that was appreciated.
Interesting art but an unsympathetic if honest salesperson. Would have enjoyed learning more about the paintings and artists and might have been persuaded to organise a shipment of an unframed print.

    5* Highly Reccomend Finnies.
If you want quality jewellery and exceptional customer service then go to Finnies.
My dear Dad bought me a gift voucher about 4/5 years ago, I had put it in a space place and years later I found it. I went onto the website to see if there was any chance it could still be valid, I couldn’t get it to work and all hope was lost. Karen contacted me and to my complete amazement the voucher card was still valid and they honoured the voucher. Karen offered exceptional customer services and was extremely helpful throughout. She made the buying process smooth, straightforward and simple. I was delighted when the item arrived and had been gift wrapped with a lovely ribbon. I can’t thank Karen and Finnies enough, they went above and beyond.
I highly recommend buying from this wonderful business as they always go the extra mile for each of their customers.
I will cherish this piece of jewellery because my Dad gifted it to me but also because of the lovely way it was handled, a real personal touch and after 4/5 years they honoured this voucher. A 5* experience 🙂

I went to enquire about purchasing my own kilt after hiring for years. David’s service was exceptional to the point where I decided to order my whole kilt package then and there. With a wedding coming up it was a tight turn around but I was made to feel like they would do anything to make sure I had a kilt for it. Would recommend Millsom and Main to anyone wishing to buy or hire, especially if you like a Dram or two with your purchase.
