This museum includes abundant history and knowledge related to sailing, diving and the development of oil platforms in the North sea. The oil platform in the middle of the building is cherry on top, along with nice views of the port at the top floor.

Wonderful site right next to the ocean slight walk from the car park worth every step. Had snowed previously the castle looked magical. When reading a bit more about it they took the roof off to avoid taxes in the early 1900 sadly the place suffered after that. Such a shame as large parts are still in very good condition best part free to enter.

Wonderful oasis on a gloomy November day. We wandered happily through each room.
Really loved the talking cactus with a broad Doric accent 😄

If you’re in the area of Old Aberdeen , or Seaton Park , then I recommend you make a visit to this historic Gothic old church, built in the 12th century. It’s situated on the site of a former church, believed to have been founded by St Machar - who was supposedly sent here by St. Columba from Iona. Obviously since then, the building’s undergone much in the way of major renovations and restoration. The stained glass windows are beautiful, with 5 pre-Raphaelite windows designed by Daniel Cottier in the 19th century. An organ installed in 1890, was constructed by the foremost organ-builder of the Victorian era, Henry Willis. A detailed ceiling of panelled oak contains 48 heraldic shields. The church is staffed by friendly volunteers, and the atmosphere is amazingly serene. Taphophiles will be in their element in the adjoining graveyard .

Fantastic Gallery, very accessible into all rooms, cafe is a little pricey but apart from that nothing negative. Plenty of city centre parking nearby.

Annual Christmas Panto trip to HMT. Seats were comfy, although not too much legroom.
    Panto was excellent, as always.
The 3D part was an amazing addition, loved it.
The only negative we had would be that the orchestra was louder than the cast at times. We also struggled to understand the "baddy", at times, it sounded as though she was speaking a foreign language!
Have already booked for next year's Sleeping Beauty.

Fantastic place to visit! We thought we would take our grandchild to learn and we all ended up taking part and enjoying it immensely.
Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Well worth a visit and we would happily go again and again.
I wish we had something similar near where we live in Cambridge.

What a fun place! A really well kept park (we encountered several workers maintaining the park while there) and not having to spend a cent!

We all really enjoyed a big walk around the place, the playgrounds, especially the slides, and the garden they have next to the cafe is really cool to see, highly recommend you go in!

Our first (and possibly only) time in Aberdeen, it was a gem of a place and a great find during our travels.
