We Loved visiting Riverdale, and of course learning the real history, a perfect day trip out from Belfast.

Well run, very enjoyable Santa experience. Good present for kids. Kids enjoyed the hot chocolate after. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful place. Well worth a visit. A lovely walk up to it, although a little steep (just take your time) but have lovely stations of the cross and a small grotto on the way up. The views are amazing at the top and the scale of the statue is spectacular. Lovely tranquil place.

This nature reserve is not particularly big but provides a lovely walk along the river. There is some interpretation but could do with a bit more, especially about wildlife

This beach is clearly popular. The sea goes out such a long way that it could be problematic. It is quite fine 'muddy' sand. So it is good for paddling but not swimming and, probably, not for sandcastles. Coastguards are on duty during the main season. Few facilities. Horses seem to visit quite often as there are many piles of manure (which is a shame)

Parking is often charged but at quiet times it is free. The car park is not particularly big.

We had a fantastic time doing the cycle tour. Will was incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgable. He took us through an extensive explanation of what went on here, filled with lots of firsthand anecdotes. We then set off on the bike tour, and the scenery is just gorgeous. Would highly recommend.
