What travelers are saying
- William P28 contributionsA small group of us, on visiting the gallery decided to stay for lunch. The cafe was very busy, but after a short wait we found a table. The menu was interesting and the specials sounded good. We all chose different things and none of us were disappointed. Lunch was very good. The staff were friendly and helpfulWritten November 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BigFatBudgiePort Talbot715 contributionsAlthough not large, St. Dogmaels market has a very good selection of high quality crafts and produce to suit most tastes.
I especially liked the jam & chutney stall and the one that made traditional Welsh dolls out of dolly pegs.
There is also quality meat and cheese on offer, plus soaps, candles, Welsh blankets, assorted plants and a doggy stall. I bought some pasties for lunch there and they were delicious. Really tasty.
Only open outdoors on Tuesday mornings. The ruined abbey nearby is worth a look & it situated close to Poppit sands too.Written February 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Previous purchases have been anything from a stained glass crow, to a selection of handmade gift tags to a wonderfully tactile cushion. This visit was no different, and my goodness - the place never disappoints!
There was the most beautiful abstract painting, by Zoe Taylor(?) if only I had a spare £1000 in my account, it would have been mine! Seriously - totally gorgeous. And now I am back at home, and looking at the wall where it could have/should have been hanging, I am beginning to regret not blowing my overdraft on it....
A wonderful space, with an array of the most incredible artistic creations. Time spent here, is good for the soul.Written May 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Paul is obviously a very experienced potter and managed to guide us through creating something we can actually use - with a great sense of humour. There is also a great pottery shop attached. If you are in the area, I would urge you to book a session then follow up with a visit to the Wolfe Inn!Written November 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - brc tCardiff, UK10 contributionsWe wandered up an alley to discover the Malthouse Café, Antiques and Garden Centre. What a wonderful place! All the food on offer looked delicious and the calzone and enchiladas we had did not disappoint. We then toured the antiques centre which is in an intriguing warren of a building (the Malthouse?) with many rooms and levels and an eclectic mix of all sorts of antiques and curios. Then we went to the charming garden behind and bought some plants. We will return.Written May 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PoshbirdyCardigan, UK427 contributionsAnother wonderful visit to Katy at the Gallery with friends visiting from overseas. We’ve purchased so many beautiful pieces over the years and have had excellent customer service right the way through the process, with many items being personally delivered to our home. Eddie Hallam’s Kingfisher which arrived that day is exquisite.Written September 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul ABracknell, UK61 contributionsMe and my wife were walking around Tenby when we stumbled onthis gallery , we found a photo which will remind us so much of our trip , the owner was very pleasant and managed to frame our picture before the end of our trip and the price was very reasonable, this was a great findWritten January 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christopher TWhitland, UK201 contributionsWhat a disappointment last weekend for the two band live show.
Saturday night had been booked for months to see the support band then Julian Marley.
The music was great, what we saw and heard but....
Another but.
The doors should have opened at 8pm but still a small queue at 10pm after the support band started!
There may have been good reason for this but we only got rumours.
We decided to spend 90 minutes in the pub opposite watching the queue not move!
Given that my wife had to be in work at 07.30 next day and our taxi wouldn't pick up at the new finish time of 01.30 we missed half the show.
Incredibly disappointed and the tickets were relatively pricey.
A good number of paid customers (it was a sell out) gave up on the queue in cold weather.
The staff always seem to try but something clearly went wrong.
Even after the long wait security went through my wife's handbag with a fine tooth comb but never paid attention to men.
A friend had two loose tablets (parecetamol) taken from her when I could have had a 1000 on me!
Maybe it's just a whinge, but at the ticket price we all feel short changed. It's not possible to get a taxi in the sticks at short notice so we left very early

- carjo415Cardiff, UK35 contributionsVery varied stock made by local artists. I purchased two items which happened to be made by the lady who was in the shop at the time. Great to talk to the artist. Definitely worth a visit. No pressure to buy either.Written May 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The cafe is excellent. As a vegan it was extra special as there was food for us, even plant milk for the coffee. The toilets were spotless, a very effective hand drier in the female loo. So many other places have lame hand driers, but here they have invested in the best of everything. The staff in the cafe were wonderful and so hard working. The people in the shop are fabulous too. The quality of the woolen products are so perfect. Thank you, I wish other places were so caring of their customers. You go above and beyond for your clientel. Diolch yn fair.Written March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
