High Street Broadway
#1 of 4 Sights & Landmarks in Broadway
A hilly walk through fields of sheep (watch your step!), we stopped short of the Tower to enjoy a bench and a panoramic view of the town below as well as the iconic fields and hedges of the Cotswolds.
We stayed on the Caravan and Motorhome Club site which is opposite the Railway Station approx 1 mile from the High Street it is in easy flat walking distance.

One of the windiest days of the year and we choose to visit the tower, very boggy, slippery accent from Broadway but well worth it, huge blue skies and fabulous views over some of England's finest countryside.
We so enjoyed this fabulous place - an easy short walk from the road and an interesting little museum on each floor, before reaching the very top where the view of 16 counties can be seen in all their beautiful en...

It is a lot larger than it first seems, and we spent several hours there (two families and grandparents) wandering right round the site, including a large area with life sized dinosaurs.
In my view it is a good place to visit.

The whole house and gardens have an Indian theme; an Orangery and Persian style garden, Indian bridge and Snake Pool plus a gorgeous tent room with amazing views across the county are just some of the delights.
As the house comes into view with its great green dome & Hindu as well as Mogul architectural details you can understand how it inspired the Prince Regent's Brighton Pavilion.
