- GordonBeasleyHayes, UK259 contributionsI visited as one of four who are widely travelled when it comes to golf courses. Temple did not disappoint. With friendly staff throughout the complex we felt very covid secure during our visit. Nice clubhouse and a lovely practice putting green which set the standard for the golf course which was very well presented indeed. The members we encountered were very friendly and a credit to the club and I mention this as visitors are often held with disdain .We both ate and drank here and prices were very reasonable. The golf course is not without some hilly terrain so if aged or infirm bear this in mind. Overall though we enjoyed our visit.Written June 9, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- TarynLauraLondon, UK24 contributionsTara has a wealth of river experience and I have now been on multiple of her guided tours, some on my own and others with my 4 year daughter. Everything is very well organised, the equipment is top of the range and Tara strikes a great balance between a lesson and a tour, it’s a fab experience - thanks Tara.Written November 28, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonathan CLondon, UK8 contributionsMy uncle flew Hurricanes with 151 and 605 Squadrons during the Battle of Britain so I had a family interest. Last year (July 2021) I took the ‘fly alongside a Hurricane’ trip which I thought could not be bettered, flying alongside a Hurricane that my uncle would have flown alongside in 1940. Apart from the historical aspect, I shall not forget the Mike’s victory roll in the Harvard at the end of the flight. Then this year the opportunity to actually fly in a Hurricane came up. It proved to be a wonderful afternoon. My wife and daughter came along to watch and take pictures, enjoying the club bar during my flight. There was a great friendly atmosphere. Everyone at Hurricane Heritage went out of their way to make it special. Abigail’s smooth organization on the ground prepared me for the flight and made my family welcome as well. Once airborne Mike took us up to fly amongst the clouds near Oxford and handed over control to me for several minutes. Quite breathtaking. It was an experience that I will not forget and neither will my family. I never thought that I would get these opportunities and then Hurricane Heritage happened. A big thank you to all concerned.Written October 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SMOOZALondon, UK398 contributionsVisited with my family for kayaking on the lake. All very well organised (book and pay online in advance) with friendly and helpful staff. The lake is massive which is great - enough space for everyone.Written September 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
