The Chamberlain Memorial Fountain stands in tribute toJoseph Chamberlain, a local businessman, councillor, mayor, Member of Parliament, and statesman.

Right now, the fountain is partially hidden from view due to the ongoing construction works. From what I could see, it looks like a in neo-gothic tower. Hopefully the works will complete soon so that I can take a better look.

Located on Centenary Square in front of the wonderful Symphony Hall is Centenary Square Fountain ,a superb water feature that day or night looks superb.
Its a modern fountain ,a big square pond with shooting spouts of water ,I must say that on a hot day the fountain looked very cooling and to be honest very inviting, I would have loved to dip my feet in these waters to cool down,The Centenary Square Fountain adds to the joy of working through this pretty square in the heart of Birmingham.
Easy to locate on Centenary Square, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The River Fountain in Victoria Square is an absolutely fantastic water feature/ artwork located in the centre of this fabulous square .
The fountain is the work of Dhruva Mistry ,construction begun in 1992 and completed in 1994 when the square and fountain were opened by Diana ,Princess Of Wales.
Initial teething problems saw the fountain repaired periodically, a major leak was discovered in 2013 ,the fountain was eventually filled with soil and plants in 2015 ,there are three main statue sets located in the now dry fountain ,The River Statue ( Floozie In The Jacuzzi ) ,Youth & Object statues and the almost Egyptian Guardians .
Its a wonderful fountain and most definitely well worth checking out, my twin brother Stephen and I were heading to Purecraft Bar & Kitchen and passed River Fountain, I took some photos before moving onto the craft beer bar.
Easy to locate on Victoria Square, most definitely well worth checking out.

Located on Victoria Square is a now filled on fountain known as The River Fountain and in the centre of the fountain is a cool looking statue known as the Rivers Statue or as it is known locally " The Floozie In The Jacuzzi " there are also a couple of little figures known as Youth but these are now overshadow by the Rivers Statue which is huge and the work of sculptor Dhruva Mistry and the foliage that now acts as a base for the now defunct fountain.
The statues are very cool ,makes for some great photographic opportunities and adds to the joy of walking through Victoria Square.
Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
