The Educational Museum is just that - it has so much depth and is family friendly to the extent that this grandfather was still learning new things and the four-year-old granddaughter was having a wonderful as well.
It may be small, but I took a 4 year round who enjoyed seeing the stuffed animals, dinosaurs, butterflies etc. Good place to go for a short visit with its amazingly wide range of topics.

Fantastic day out for all the family ... Early fairground rides , steam farm and steam hauled narrow gauge railway set in beautiful countryside with friendly , helpful staff and as an added bonus the ticket lasts...
There is an old bioscope (early cinema) where we watched a short silent laurel and hardy film but which had a very talented man play an organ to add music to it which was very entertaining and we'll worth seeing.
