We took our teenage boys and dogs for a visit here the kids loved the open space playing and the dogs loved the country walk. The only thing that disappointed us was the cafe closed at 3pm which was a shame as the place was full of families who wanted drinks and ice creams.

Lovely visit to this village. Nice shops and friendly people would return. Found a parking space easily. Busy road through the centre of the long street but you can go down one side and up the other.

Excellent experience. Real upclose experience with some beautiful Alpacas. They're very well cared for and in beautiful surroundings.
Staff were extremely knowledgeable and love what they do. Would highly recommend a visit.

Well what can I say had a great night at the theatre to see the Cavern Beatles they were very good and we had a great night ,,, However we paid for vip tickets and to be honest they are not worth the extra £4 we paid ,, the larger was £3.90 a pint and didn't taste very nice at all ,, for this price it should have been a good pint,, you get to sit in a small lounge but no flash at all , the first extra you get is a small bowl of cheap crisps half a dozen small cheese biscuits and half a dozen small pieces of cheese between 4 of us ,I've got to say Very disappointing and would not recommend vip tickets ,I think the forum should offer a better service to customers

Took our dogs and teenage boys here had a lovely walk and a nice hot drink at the takeaway back of the museum and took a pack lunch always a great day out with the family. With having the dogs obviously we couldn’t go in museum of butterfly world but would recommend it to families as have been before.

Great pub, great range of excellent beers, had a few with family members before sneaking off for a curry.
Be warned however, on the night we were there the manager was a hyperactive springer spaniel of limited intellect. Having learned a few supervisory landlordly tricks including collecting beer mats whilst slobbering all over the tables, it became desperate for a tinkle. After much agitated prancing and mewing its human eventually opened the door for several minutes thus reducing the temperature in the pub to single digits. Upon its eventual return the manager felt the need to be congratulated on a marvellous tinkle and so several of the staff petted it prior to returning behind the bar to serve drinks.

We had an amazing afternoon today with family on-board the Teesside Princess for their Mother's Day cruise. We had a Sunday Roast which was to die for, and red fruit and white chocolate cheesecake for afters. The staff were amazing as always, Chris and his team make you feel at home from the moment you board to when you disembark. The views of the river are absolutely amazing and no matter how many times you cruise with them you never tire of them, there's always something different you notice everytime, I would thoroughly recommend anyone who visits stockton to take a couple of hours out of their day and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere on-board this quaint little river cruiser

This lovely chilled cafe is gluten-free, with a fantastic menu for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. Gluten-free parmos, pancakes, breakfasts, light bites. Everything is very clearly marked on the menu for vegans. The cakes are vegan and delicious. Caters for all allergies in a friendly, relaxed cafe, complete with cafe dogs. Try it out!

Been here on a few occasions recently, with my
    Partner or with friends.

This place is too notch, so may need to book on busy periods. However I have always been lucky.

The staff are highly knowledgeable and they recommend wines for your taste and if they don’t have way you usually drink they allow you to taste things that are similar.

I can’t wait to book in for a wine tasting session so I can broaden my wine knowledge (and hopefully find a red wine I like that isn’t chocolate flavoured).

Visited the spa for first time in April, with a post lockdown opening offer, including 1h spa time and 45 mins mud chamber experience. Friendly arrival and fantastic hosts who showed us round. Enjoyed jacuzzi outside with drinks. The spa is a lot smaller than expected with 2 jacuzzi outside with decking area and conservatory for drinks/food. The indoor saunas/showers were closed due to covid restrictions. No indoor pools. Luckily it was dry outside, if it was wet, the experience would have been very limited to just mud chamber. Would visit again during summer when all facilities open and book a massage.
