You can see from these gardens, along with other civic buildings, how important and how rich Sheffield was in Victorian times. It's great to see them busy and beautiful in modern times.

Very pleasant spot to take five when looking around the city centre - with an art gallery attached. Champion!

The park is great. Our visiting grand children love this park, they particularly like the animal area and then a hot chocolate in the cafe

Lovely time, GREAT play area for the kids which was totally unexpected. Proper good value for money but just have to say one thing which has really played on my mind and hopefully if the owners read this they may reconsider - so i totally get that kids need to learn about the food chain etc, however i think that's upto the parent to teach them when they think the kid is ready. When we were just about to leave yesterday there was maybe a 4/5yo girl in absolute hysterics, her mum was trying to comfort her, the little girl had seen one of your staff walking round with a clear tub full of dead baby chicks. A bit grizzly for the kids to see and the mum to then have to try explain !

Staying in Crookes for the weekend with friends. Nice way to walk off a Sunday roast. Started at Malin Bridge waking to rails road and back. Great walk with lovely scenery. It’s the third time I have done this walk but always something different to see and the scenery changes with the seasons. Would recommend a visit

Really nice activity although the trek was very steep and hilly. Trekking means leading the alpacas who did not seem especially grateful - but it was fun. And one was called Gordon!!!!

Attentive staff & very clean theatre. Good viewing positions, air conditioned & seating comfortable. We have watched two sessions of the World Championship Snooker Finals. Great atmosphere & effective lighting. A wonderful event for all who love the sport. Very intimate venue.

This museum has a very comprehensive collection of artefacts to illustrate all periods of industry in Sheffield. The volunteers are knowledgeable and very approachable when asked for more information. Try to get there when the Rover Don Steam Engine is fired up as it is very spectacular.

My partner is from Sheffield, so for a day out we went here. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good day out. There are many great shops and places to eat. However, it’s not the best shopping mall I’ve been too.

Yes I went in December, arguably the busiest time of year, but my god! It was that packed I struggled to breathe while a lot of people were pushing me about. We actually ended up just standing still most of the day because it was that busy.

However, I would definitely go again. Just make sure to visit when the schools are on!

We visited on Sunday after being told to visit and was not disappointed. So much history and so interesting. Loved all the different interactive things for the kids. Dress up on each section. One of the boys could not get enough of this. We all loved climbing into the vehicles and experiencing it properly. My youngest who is 2 loves nee naws so he loved this!! Fantastic find. Love you can visit again also in the next year.

A family birthday night out age range between 3 and 82 and a good time was had by all.

We just had general admission and had no problem getting a table in the bar. Drinks were competively priced and the snack bar cheap enough. Really easy to get in and out to the trackside and a good view from our table to outside too.

The only problem was that apart from the bar it was cash only. I can understand the betting itself being cash but for entry, snack bar etc. I see no reason why you couldn’t pay card. It’s 2022 not 1975. The queue for the only cash machine we saw in our area was nearly ten minutes long. We had to scramble around amongst our party to find enough cash for our entry.

All in all a good night but make sure you bring plenty of cash as this place is stuck in the past 😊

I went to the Lyceum Theatre to see Casanova. It's a nice theatre and it's not to far away from the train station.

What Sheffield seems to do well another great museum. Brilliant exhibitions, presented in an interesting way. The Kenneth Steel exhibition was fascinating. Lots to see for all ages, though not so much for pre school age? Will definitely return, too much to see in one visit!

Here for Test Match Live-which was excellent. But have to say Simon was great! Booked this 2 years ago for my hubby, who was really looking forward to it,but works in London and missed early train-lots of running.etc! Explained this to Simon who reassured me that even if he was late he’d get in no problem. I then had to add that hubby had bags due to being away, another member of staff said “no way “ to storing them which was a huge issue as hubby wouldn’t have been able to come but Simon saved the day and stored them for us-absolute diamond, wish service was like this in more places.
