It was an excellent experience, and it would be well worth spending 90 minutes of your time here on this tour of Nottingham. Sam was an excellent guide, friendly, and very knowledgeable on the history of the area. She pointed out lots of interesting places and crammed in lots of information.

This was a great way to see Nottingham and learn about some of the history. The clues were a good level of challenge and the app was easy to use.

🎉 Discovering the Charms of Nottingham, UK! 🏰
Hey travel lovers! 👋 Today, I'm excited to share with you a comprehensive travel guide to Nottingham, a historic city located in the Midlands of England. Whether you're a fan of history, nature, or simply looking for a great place to dine and unwind, Nottingham has it all! 🌟
    🏰 Nottingham Castle
First up, let's talk about the iconic Nottingham Castle, situated right in the heart of the city. With its medieval architecture and a museum inside, this castle offers a glimpse into the city's rich history. Don't miss the coin-operated telescopes around the castle, which provide stunning views of the surrounding area. Although some of the original structures have been lost to time, the museum is definitely worth a visit!
    🛍️ Old Market Square
Next, head to Old Market Square, the bustling hub of Nottingham's shopping, dining, and leisure scene. This vibrant square is the perfect place to get lost in the city's energy, with various markets and events happening throughout the year, like food festivals, Christmas light-switching ceremonies, and summer fountain displays. Grab a book and relax on one of the benches under the sunny skies – it's the perfect way to unwind!
    🌲 Sherwood Forest National Park
For those who love nature, Sherwood Forest National Park is a must-visit. This beautiful forest is famous as the home of Robin Hood, and it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the tranquil woods and immerse yourself in the harmony of nature.
🍷 Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem
If you're looking for a traditional British pub experience, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is one of the oldest bars in England and serves up delicious drinks and meals in a historic setting. Feel the weight of history as you sip on a pint and enjoy a hearty meal.
🏞️ Wollaton Hall and Deer Park
Wollaton Hall, a stunning Elizabethan mansion surrounded by lush gardens, is another highlight of Nottingham. The deer park adjacent to the hall is a favorite spot for visitors, with优雅的小鹿 wandering freely. Remember to keep a safe distance while taking photos with these charming animals!
    🍽️ Dining in Nottingham
When it comes to dining, Nottingham has plenty of options to suit every taste. From Kayal, an Indian restaurant offering delicious sadya meals, to Pitcher Piano in the Lace Market area, where you can enjoy food while admiring the historic surroundings, there's something for everyone.
    🏨 Where to Stay
For accommodation, consider staying at De Ville Court Larkspur Hotel, located in the heart of Nottingham University, or Ibis Nottingham Centre, near the train station. Both offer modern, clean rooms and excellent service to ensure a comfortable stay.
    🚄 Getting Around
Nottingham is easily accessible by train, with connections to major cities like Leeds taking just 2 hours. Once you're there, walking is the best way to explore the city's compact center.
That's it for my Nottingham travel guide! Whether you're planning a short trip or a longer stay, this city has something special to offer everyone. So pack your bags, and let's go explore the magic of Nottingham! 🛫✨

Our Robin Hood guided tour was excellent, Stephen was friendly , knowledgeable and we had such a laugh while learning lots of history. We saw places that even locals wouldn’t have known existed and I cannot wait for the next tour. I love that the tours are private ( not 70 of you on a packed out tour bus ), so you get to ask all your questions and it feels so personal. We explored a canal , caves , a castle and the oldest pub in the UK ( to name but a few stops ). I would recommend Stephen for any of the personal tours he offers and cannot wait to book the next one. Thank you again Stephen for a wonderful day!

So fun and engaging for all ages, excellent value for money. We have lived in Nottingham for 12 years and learned loads of new things and saw new gems we never noticed before. The clues were at a great level for our mixed age family group. Our youngest was 10 and he was able to understand and get involved solving clues, but it was equally enjoyable for teens and adults in the group.
After the suggested break (at clue 10/15) we decided to stop for the day as youngest was getting hot and tired - delighted we can pick up again another day. We plan to visit all the other cities on their treasure map list to do more - loads of fun and educational too. Highly recommend to all

It was good fun racing around trying to collect as many points as we could. Think we walked about 8 miles and didn't manage to get everything but saw a lot of the city in passing (lots of it several times when going around in circles).
Unfortunately a few pins were placed in restricted areas that we couldn't access which seems like bad planning.
Some of the clue questions were riddle based which we enjoyed. Others were based on facts about Oxford. And then some seemed to be random general knowledge with no connection to Oxford which was odd.
Favourite element was probably the scavenger style tasks!
Overall it was good value for money to occupy the day at just £10, but would recommend a more traditional tour if you want to learn about the city.

Fantastic fun! Good value for money (five of us entertained for 3 hours) and really interesting. Exercise both body and mind as you walk between the question sites and figure out the puzzles on the way. Clues are well balanced and at no point did we feel stuck or unable to work out answer with a bit of perseverance. Ending up at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem pub didn't hurt either!

    Thoroughly recommended.

We had some issues. A couple of the clues were either wrong or ambiguous. Towards the end due to road work and construction we had to miss 2 clues and decided we’d had enough after more than 3 hours. Would prefer if we could decide how many times we could pause the game for a coffee / lunch break
