Charlotte Tilburys Magical beauty spa. Enjoyed the ultimate magical facial in the private room. The spa is a fantastic place to be spoilt. With a great choice of skincare and makeup. Visited the Piazza, popped into Penhaligons to one of my favourite perfumery’s. Bought some Jasmine and English Rose tea from whittards of chelsea so refreshing. So many lovely shops and stalls in the piazza, well worth the visit. Also so many great restaurants to visit, Rules is one of my favourites lots of choices of game as well as great oysters, puddings and Pies. A night at the Royal opera house to watch the ballet and dinner there is a great evening out.

We loved the whole experience, the climb was great and we then had plenty of time at the top to go in the snow globe and look around at the views from the platform, made all the better by the glorious weather that day. Lily our guide was excellent, chatted to everyone and was more than happy to take photos for everyone at the top along with the other guides.

Stayed at the Greenwich travelodge. Best place to be for gigs and events at the O2 as you have a short trip away. Julie was a great host at the hotel.

Kensington Gardens is a lovely park to walk through and a great escape from all the hassle and noise of London. Also, it is free to enter and lively for dogs as it is open and clean. Only one thing bothered me: a pigeon flew straight at my head and if I didn't duck in time it would have booked me on the nose! But it's an amazing park all round!

I took the tube to Baker St and walked up the road past Sherlock Holmes’ house. The entrance to Regent’s Park is at the top.
The lake is the first thing you see. Lots of birds. I saw Egyptian geese on my last visit and a grebe on this visit.
There’s a great little cafe where the boats are. It’s lovely to sit outside here. The coffee is excellent.
Walking further up there are toilets on the left.
Continue further and London Zoo is on the right.
Across the bridge over Regent’s Canal and over the road walking on you come to Primrose Hill. There’s another cafe here and toilets.
It’s worth doing a detour here to look at the houses. There are blue plaques for Sylvia Plath and W B Yeats. Some good architecture around here too.
The park is massive but you can’t get lost. It’s a beautiful green space and still has some Victorian influences e g a water fountain, and some great views of London.

This is my 1st visit to London for the 1st time in 2-3yrs I wanted to visit a Antique coin store and I decide to have a London walk day and visit my favourite places,

Trafalgar Square is a great open space celebrating art and especially Lord Nelson on his Colom.

I visited here on my way to see the cenotaph down the road, it was very wet when I visited but didn't care as it was great seeing this amazing land marks

very recommended to visit to drink the atmosphere of a beautiful open space and architecture.

Lots of small, cute shops with souvenirs and vintage clothes (designed), but the prices are higher than elsewhere in London. The houses are beautiful and specific. It is not a part of London that I would recommend as a must.

and thus globally - and free, without pressure to pay. Great infrastructure incl. free and not coin-based lockers, fantastic restaurant (reviewed separately), very friendly staff, superb shop - what more could you want?

Well, a great collection, and it's not "random" as some seem to think, but precisely guided by a collector's focus. The traditional hanging and combination with objects d'art is extremely successful, and while the pieces that are so iconic that anyone knows them (Laughing Cavalier, Swing) are great, it's the "secondary" works that often are especially good. This is a marvel of curation and a place you can go over and over again. Self-selection of patrons, and even if it's full it's not too full...

... but if you read the reviews here, the self-entitled bi***iness of some patrons is just unbelievable. In a free museum like that! With free wifi and so good service! And then people whine about the smallest inconveniences - just amazing. I was thinking, the poor staff and management that has to spend time and effort on wea***s who think the free wifi is too weak (it's not) or too many (other tourists) etc. Yuk.

I trememdously enjoyed myself and felt spiritually elevated by all that beauty, and I will definietly come back. Most strongly recommended to anyone who's a non-whiner.

It didn’t work out for me to attend a performance so I scheduled a behind the scenes tour (pre booking is required) and that made for a great experience. You learn the history, go backstage, and then see ballet rehearsal and we were detonate to even hear orchestra rehearsal with the singers. The building is beautiful and learning the machinations about how they make everything work is fascinating as well.

    PROS
    * A central part of London and therefore the main focus of political and historical things
    * This houses the governmental stuff- Westminster Bridge past the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to Parliament Square, Westminster Abbey, the UK Supreme Court and on through St. James Park to Buckingham Palace and other royal stuff and then down The Mall past 10 Downing Street, and horse Guards through Admiralty Arch to everything in Trafalgar Square.

    CONS
    Packed with tourist sites

    "I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... while walking from Trafalgar Square to Westminster tube station

    WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
    It is free.

WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
    Yes

    ADVICE
    Come and enjoy

Located along The Strand in the Somerset House building, the Courtauld Gallery is a "must" with that room on the first floor that leaves you breathless.

One after the other: Seurat, Degas, Cezanne, Gaugain, Pissarro, Sisley, Toulouse Laurec, Signac...(surely forgot some).

Shall i move forward? Of course, because in front of Van Gogh or to the Manet of "Bar aux folies bergeres" you remain enraptured for a long time.

    With the Modigliani's nude alongside.

Not only impressionist painters, many other thing to watch.

Here you have to buy ticket, ten pounds good value for two house full immersion in masterpieces.

A self respecting city is built around an iconic river. Long ago settlements were started at an advantageous point on a river, where a crossing could be made. This is how London emerged and grew into the vast metropolis it is now. The river Thames and London are inextricably linked. This attractive river has many bridges and can be used for many purposes. Have a quick journey on a ferry, a slow ride on a tourist boat (you know, like "to the left and to the right......"), make a long walk along the bank and marvel at the ever changing scenes or sit on a bench at Victoria Embankment and cherish the moment.

Primrose Hill was an absolute delight for me during my visit to London. The panoramic views of the city skyline from the hilltop were breathtaking, especially during sunset when the city lights began to twinkle. The lush green hills and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll and some great photo opportunities. I also enjoyed the vibrant street art and the cozy cafes nearby, which added to the charm of this location. Highly recommended for those seeking a serene yet vibrant escape in the heart of the city.I bought a railcard on trainpal and got a 20% discount when I entered the RC777E code! Hope to help those who come to the UK to play~
