Low price museum, good for walking down memory lane. Brings back memories and lots of talking points. Probably no good for kids and young people.

The tour of Highgate West cemetery lead by Malcolm was exceptionally good. The fascinating stories of deceased occupants really brought it to life. Coupled with the rich wildlife and the rich characters of the dedicated volunteers, it was inspiring. What a nice environment to spend a couple of hours. It made our day out very memorable. Thanks to all.

The Wallace Collection is an amazing place, a stately mansion stuffed with paintings, furniture, trinkets, and arms and armor that reads more "collection" than "museum." Mixed with the world-class paintings by Fragonard, Rembrandt, and Rubens, among others, are busts and bronzes, Italian ceramics, French porcelain, and two enormous Chinese incense burners. It's easy to walk around in a daze since the painting are stacked two or three deep on high ceilinged walls, the furniture is all works of art in their own right, and there are consoles with drawers you can pull out to admire, say, a collection of miniatures depicting Napoleon and Josephine. Wander through for a while then go get a drink at the cafe to regroup for another pass through before you go. It's real London treasure and, like all the public museums, is free.

I’m in the area Tomorrow (Saturday) Any recommendations please for a genuine curry for me and the Mrs ? We are from Manchester visit the curry Mile in Rusholme frequently so think we know a decent curry. Be really interested to learn from other peoples recommendations. We are looking for a few beers first and then a genuine curry house experience. No BS. Just a good curry ! Cheers

We went to the Monet in London exhibition. It was relatively easy to book although it did sell out. The gallery is in central London and was easy to walk to. The exhibition was in one room. It was well laid out with descriptions next to each painting. The exhibition was wonderful. The next room contained some impressionist masterpieces as well that were a delight to see. It really enhanced the Monet exhibition.

The museum is a collection of themed rooms in a building close to Tower Hill Underground station. The exhibits include the possessions of the policeman who found the body of one of the victims. The walk was a truly superb experience. Sam, the guide, certainly knew his stuff and was able to inspire the group into thinking about the murders, concentrating on the canonical five, but also mentioning other possible victims. He was clear and brought humour and insight into the walk. An experience that I would recommend for all. There was a minor on the trip, 11yo boy, who had no issues looking at photographs of victims, post mortem; the parents were given the option of having him avert his eyes. Very sensitive children may find the pictures disturbing.

Primrose Hill was an absolute delight for me during my visit to London. The panoramic views of the city skyline from the hilltop were breathtaking, especially during sunset when the city lights began to twinkle. The lush green hills and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll and some great photo opportunities. I also enjoyed the vibrant street art and the cozy cafes nearby, which added to the charm of this location. Highly recommended for those seeking a serene yet vibrant escape in the heart of the city.I bought a railcard on trainpal and got a 20% discount when I entered the RC777E code! Hope to help those who come to the UK to play~

Great place to sit and chill for a few hours after a busy few days in London. Handy to Knightsbridge area Sainsbury’s too so I popped in to buy food for a picnic before I went. Japanese Garden lovely too but much smaller than I expected.

I had been years ago and loved it. I went with quite a large group of friends on Wednesday. We had a very nice lunch, and the show was brilliant. An adult panto type show, with good old songs and carols performed by exceptional singers and an amazing violinist. Gave everyone a really great feel-good glow, and as for Vincent, he is amazing. Real British humour and music hall. Not woke, thank goodness! Many thanks to all concerned!

A place quite frequented by lovers of walks, especially with dogs, wonderful views, peace, unfortunately quite troublesome on wet days due to the considerable mud on the paths

This museum is such a quirky, eccentric spot. I really liked how the basement was lit by candles, it made it very atmospheric. You don't need a long time in this place, but it's nice to walk through it and explore the various treasures collected by the owner.

My Dad and I visited on spur of moment and were really impressed. The staff are super friendly, including in the cafe. The building itself is interesting and the exhibits are laid out so that it's easy to learn about the history of the docklands. I enjoyed the social history element. There are some great artefacts and I would like to go back when I have more time.
