Awesome experience. The building is huge and the (tour/exhibition) options are endless. Almost too much to do in a day. Because of the ticketing it doesn't get too crowded although it can be very busy in certain rooms.

Bit sad to see some of the things in display as you do feel they need to be on display in the country of origin, but I guess that's always the case and most museums do their best these days to return items to counties of origin.

It looks daunting from the ground, but the ride itself is not something to worry about even if you are a bit afraid of heights. It felt very safe and did not move fast at all. Great way to get an eagles view of the area.

Quite a lot of stair to the top but there is a lift which wasn't working on one side the day we went. Wasn't worried about the lift as I wanted to walk up.

Full of history about the building and its workers over the year. The views for the top are worth a look on their own.

Compared to the tower of London or the London eye this was much more reasonably priced.

We always visit Borough market when in London and we always will. If you cannot find something to buy or eat here you need a good head shake. Enough said.

My wife and I went on the new East Wing tour of the palace, entering at the front east corner of the building. Lots of helpful staff and stewards to get us in quickly. Security is understandably tight. We were guided by a very knowledgeable gentleman who was well trained in all the historical, architectural and contents matters. We were about 25 in the group. His recounting of the main facts about the design, refurbs, preferences of various monarchs etc, usage of the rooms was very good. We saw the main balcony at the front of the palace. Decor and furniture etc are very chinese in influence. Lots of funny anecdotes about various members of the royal family.
It lasts 90 minutes. At ÂŁ90 per person it isn't cheap but was very worthwhile.

Wow awesome museum. Time flew past. Very informative interesting exhibits. In their main entrance they have an actual harrier jet suspended from the ceiling, and from entrance to exit this place is full of wow moments. But also brings home very much the sad cost of conflict on people.

We have been to the Sky Garden on number of occasions. It’s worth the visit because the views are great.
Today our ticket was for 10.15am. We arrived about 20 minutes early, there was no queue and we went straight in. The staff were pleasant and polite. Security is a necessity in my opinion.
It was lovely and quiet on 35th floor and London looked wonderful in the hazy sunshine.
The only negative is the toilets. The cubicles are unisex, which is fine but as the washbasins are in the cubicles, it adds to the time they are in use, so the queue was long. In addition the toilet in the cubicle I used was blocked and when I tried to flush, water (etc) came over the top and onto the floor. I did manage to find a cleaner to report this to but with so many people using the facilities, there really needs to be a cleaner in the area at all times.
Apart from that, a good visit.

We come to London once a year. This year (feb 2025 for my bday)
We visited Camden & markets each time. Everything there slightly changes each time. But now I feel bored with it.

The shops are looking tired. Same stuff.
Think it's time for a change. Edinburgh thinks it's time we visit.

Charlotte Tilburys Magical beauty spa. Enjoyed the ultimate magical facial in the private room. The spa is a fantastic place to be spoilt. With a great choice of skincare and makeup. Visited the Piazza, popped into Penhaligons to one of my favourite perfumery’s. Bought some Jasmine and English Rose tea from whittards of chelsea so refreshing. So many lovely shops and stalls in the piazza, well worth the visit. Also so many great restaurants to visit, Rules is one of my favourites lots of choices of game as well as great oysters, puddings and Pies. A night at the Royal opera house to watch the ballet and dinner there is a great evening out.

Wow! What an amazing experience the Big Ben Tour was (tickets booked via the UK Parliament website).

The climb up 336 steps was absolutely worth it to witness Big Ben strike and take in the breathtaking views across London.

Our tour guide, Melissa, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging, making the experience even more special.

After the tour, we had the opportunity to swap our lanyards and visit the public gallery in the House of Lords, which was a great bonus.

The on-site café also served good-quality food at reasonable prices.

Highly recommend this tour—it’s an unforgettable experience!

Superb visit to the Shard the other day. The weather was clear and the views magnificent. The visit was made even more enjoyable by having 'London Experts' on hand to explain what we could see - including the QEII bridge at Dartford. Many thanks indeed to Howard for spending time to point things out.
