One the best museums in the world. The museum is so huge and it has so many things to see from many countries. A museum full of history. I totally recommend it.

I have always wanted to see a van Gogh painting so during a solo trip to London I decided to visit the National Gallery. I wasn't sure what time I would be able to make it so didn't book in advance and was slightly taken aback by the long queue. It moved really quickly though, staff were working efficiently and despite the long queue I only waited for 20 minutes to get in.

It was amazing. So many beautiful paintings. I spent an hour looking at van Gogh's and Monet's paintings alone. It was the highlight of my trip and to think I didn't even have to pay to see all these paintings.

What a treasure to have this place in our country.

Okay, this place is AWESOME. I dragged my wife in here and she actually enjoyed it more than I did. It’s a really beautiful building with amazing exhibits and a very nice cafe to boot. So, we walked around for a few hours and then had carrot cake and hot tea in the cafe. Wonderful day. I would say this is a must do while in London.

Visited with my wife & daughter who had tickets to see the Chanel exhibition so I was left to my own devices for an hour. I’m a techie by trade so wasn’t expecting to see much of interest in an arts & design museum but I was proved wrong. Whilst I’ll admit walking straight past a number of exhibits there was more than enough to interest me, particularly in the British history sections, and in fact it was me who delayed our departure from the museum. It just goes to show the extent of exhibits that are available in the V&A and there is certainly enough to be of interest to all walks of life. We will be returning at some stage in the future to see what else I can find.

What can I say about London's Hyde Park. It's stunning!

For me, this one of the top places to visit on your London trip. It's perfect in the summer, but suitable for all times of the year. Enjoy a nice walk, or take a bike ride around the park. Take a little walk down via the lake and grab a coffee (or whatever you want) from the cafe by the lake and take in the amazing views and sights that Hyde Park has to offer. In the summer time on a sunny day, it's perfect, other times you will find events, such as concerts and a perfect example of this time of year (November / December) is Winter Wonderland. An amazing event.

Since I have been living in London, I've lost track of the times I have come for a nice morning walk at least twice a week. I can't recommend this enough.

Another cool funky place, a really great atmosphere, good food and beer. The busters were going off when we were there. Must do.

We caught the Changing of the Guards parade and decided to walk through the park along the lake to the Horse Guards. We say a wide variety of birds, including the pelicans and parrots! It was a nice respite from the constant traffic of Central London.

I had not been in a few years to the Imperial War Museum. I enjoyed the redone WW2 galleries, and visited again the WW1 galleries. I liked the temp exhibit "Spies, Lies and Deception" In prior years, there was always great hot food in the cafe, but very little choices other than Vegan or Pizza or Hamburgers, this time. The expresso was terrible, beyond belief, left a horrible taste in my mouth, so note to Museum cafe: please change whatever you are doing for Expresso. Overall, for decades, this has been one of London's most interesting and important museums, so I recommend it. I visited the old Holocaust ex, so on a future visit, will visit the new version.

A world class collection in a stunning mansion. Go early. We went in the morning and it wasn't crowded. Beautiful collection of miniatures too.

Greeted with warmth and humour by the lovely Nicolai. He was very pleasant and my sister’s husband had stayed the week before and advised us to ask for floors 4,5 and 6 after a recent refurbishment. Not to be disappointed we were treated to these and they were off excellent upgrade. We had additional queries and he answered very professionally and with patience and care. He then served us at the bar to. A very professional approach to us and any given situation. A credit to you as an employer of him and how he managed himself. He made a great first impression to us all.
