A yank, an aussie and three kids visited this museum in the heart of London and had the best of times. The British do this kind of thing so well. SO much to see and do, all set in a superb building stuffed full of artifacts and articles of interest. It should be compulsory to visit this place and spend at least four hours there.

The Natural History Museum is a National Treasure and should be visited by everyone who comes to the city. It is beyond compare in my opinion There is so much to learn here and so much to see. My kids were fascinated from minute one to the point when we had to leave (we didn't want to!). It is unbelievable that the museums in London are free. What a great idea.

Awesome gallery. There are astonishing paintings by the titans of Western art. There are exquisite exhibits from Da Vinci, Mischaelangelo, Turner, Constable and th eImpressionists. The queues can be long so book an advance ticket on th eionternet (tickets are free).

A great day spent at this wonderful museum and I barely scratched the surface.
So much history it’s impossible to absorb everything. As an overseas visitor I’m glad to have spent 6 hours here with a nice lunch. Will come back to explore on my next trip. Highly recommended and it’s free🤗

I am a bit of a buff about World War Two history, so I was quite excited to visit here. In the Westminster area, this historic place is a perfectly preserved relic of the times in WW2 when London was under siege from German bombings. It was fascinating to wander the corridors and imagine what happened here many years ago. I made a booking but I think it would depend what time of the year you go whether you would consider it worthwhile.

Low price museum, good for walking down memory lane. Brings back memories and lots of talking points. Probably no good for kids and young people.

Really interesting, very clever, mesmerizing. I cannot imagine the amount of work involved in animating the paintings and fitting appropriate music to the displays. I do wonder whether some artists, particularly of the more modern abstract works, would be happy with the manipulation of their work, but it was fascinating. The time flew by. Only criticism would be that the music in the room that included the Bosch paintings was too loud.

Visited the war museum once again in Dec 24 having not been for many years, I had found myself in London with time on my hands, wasnt dissappointed spent about 4 hrs looking round could of taken longer, the Holocaust exhibition was very moving and well put together, of particualar interest was some of the recorded personal accounts from survivours which made it very real, will visit again when time allows.

We are Merlin Pass holders - so am reviewing from the sense that we didn't individually pay to come here.

On the whole the place is well done, there are some big stars, and The Marvel 3D ride was cool.

Despite time slots - they still let too many people in.

A fun couple of hours - not sure I would return unless a pass holder.

It was okay and fun. I have nothing bad to say about this place, the actors were good and it's fun. The only thing I will say is that there is 0 point going here and also going to London dungeons. London Dungeons actors, stories, and whole general experience is far far superior and much more immersive. At similar prices I just don't see why you'd need to do both. Also one slight issue in my opinion is, for the jump scare part at the end they make you go in a line with your hand placed on the person in front of you 's back. Now this is clearly for safety as it is very dark and I totally understand the need for this but if you are not in the front third of the line then the jump scare is absolutely pointless as you know exactly when it is coming because you hear the others scream.

The Wallace Collection is an amazing place, a stately mansion stuffed with paintings, furniture, trinkets, and arms and armor that reads more "collection" than "museum." Mixed with the world-class paintings by Fragonard, Rembrandt, and Rubens, among others, are busts and bronzes, Italian ceramics, French porcelain, and two enormous Chinese incense burners. It's easy to walk around in a daze since the painting are stacked two or three deep on high ceilinged walls, the furniture is all works of art in their own right, and there are consoles with drawers you can pull out to admire, say, a collection of miniatures depicting Napoleon and Josephine. Wander through for a while then go get a drink at the cafe to regroup for another pass through before you go. It's real London treasure and, like all the public museums, is free.

The tape modern is a great way to spend a couple of hours checking out some interesting modern art. There are five floors of exhibits. Entry is free however there are some exhibits that require purchasing a ticket. I was only looking at the freegalleries on this visit. Everything is well organized and laid out. Due to the subject matter of some of the artwork, you might want to think twice about bringing little kids here, although they do have warnings before you walk into one of those exhibits.

    Family trip (kids aged 7, 4 & almost 3)

Paid to go into Wonderlab first. It was great, loads to do and some great bits of science that (especially our eldest) could understand and learn from.

Went to a couple of the shows in Wonderlab which were well presented and engaging.

All the exhibits/experiments were in good condition. There was a good amount of people in (in that it wasn't excessively busy).

We then went into the main part of the museum and went to the technician display/area which was great at explaining different careers. Even for the little ones we took, but I imagine for older kids would be even more suited.

Finished in the space exhibition which is always worth a look.

    Will deffo be back!

Fascinating free display with diverse artifacts. Wonderful to see original manuscripts and song lyrics (including the Magna Carta).
