What travelers are saying
- prs54fmpuLeeds, UK402 contributionsA wonderful place to visit, it feels like although you are in one of the biggest cities in the world this a little bit of heaven with great restaurants and night life.Written May 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lavender900London, UK49 contributionsLovely way to start the day with exercise up and down the stairs and great views of the Victoria and Albert Docks and City Airport runway once up there.Written April 25, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Howard-LiverpoolLiverpool, UK2,837 contributionsA very interesting area but largely closed when I was there - suffering from Covid problems I would think. This whole area could be really exciting but I think needs lots of investment. Lightship a couple of old boats a Lighthouse used as an experiment and a cople of cafes. Needs attention but the whole area is being redeveloped so think will probably be quite good in timeWritten June 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Louis CecileLondon, UK222 contributionsThis is a little hidden gem tucked away a few minutes from the Southbank centre. It is home to small local independent shops that sell clothing and art. The shop owners are friendly and passionate about their products. Despite the area, you can find some good bargains if you shop smart. There are also restaurants and bars to enjoy after shopping. If you prefer something more niche or are looking to get away from the crowds, it is worth a visit.Written August 31, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AndrewCatleyEssex, UK130 contributionsAttended a business lunch. Despite being near to Christmas it wasn’t that busy which suited us perfectly.
The food quality was very good and service was friendly and efficient. A great setting on the edge of the river looking into tower bridge made it a really good experience overall.
Will look to return in the near future.Written December 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HowloBuckingham, UK9,353 contributionsEasy to find this pier - very close to The Eye, The Pier is used by ferry boats and tour boats, today we were there for a beer cruise. Great afternoon out.Written May 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SimplyFredShrewsbury, UK1,002 contributionsThe lock cotttages and stables were listed Grade 2 back in 1990. All of the locks on the Hertford canal link are in good condition and used every time we visit down here.Written September 9, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
