Need a day out of the city and get some amazing views, then book this trip. It's a small group so you aren't overwhelmed with a large tour bus full of people that seemed rush, especially since I was traveling solo. It's also some of the most beautiful sites and views you can get, pictures will not do it justice as seeing the place in person.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped make sure we saw some spots that standard people driving down on their own wouldn't have seen. Thank you to Lawrence for our introduction to Sussex.

Long day but so much to see and do! The trip was perfectly planned out - train tickets from London, self guided museum tour and then bus tour. Also meeting at the Cavern to end the day with a cold beer was perfect. The guide was knowledgeable and shared a ton of great information with the group. All the stops were well thought out and meaningful to a Beatles fan. The group size was manageable. Definitely recommend!

It was cheaper for me to buy the day trip package than to purchase the train tickets through Eurostar. Originally, I was only going to Paris to take a Macaron making class that I signed up for (highly recommend this as well). The tour comes with the hop on/off bus pass as well.
Meeting with the representative was easy. She was exactly where she said she would be at the time that was predetermined.
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I would have liked the flexibility to change the return time at the end of the day.

Wow wow wow. This was a great tour. Everything was perfect. I don't often take tours - usually want to explore on my own. This was a short trip and we wanted to pack as much in as possible so we decided to book a tour. I've now become a fan of tours. Marina waited for us at the meeting point ahead of schedule. She was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable, even in answering our questions that were not directly related to the tour. She was prepared and kept us all engaged - adults and teens. It was clear she was prepared to engage any age. I was worried that I'd feel "trapped" in a long tour but it was the exact opposite - the day went by so easily and comfortably and I can't believe how much we saw and learned. I could not recommend the tour any more strongly.

Private London Tours is an excellent tour organization. The company was willing to combine two tours into a single day which was perfect for us – Windsor Castle and Westminster Abbey. Using Emails, Gio was exceptionally responsive to all of our questions which gave us confidence in making this reservation ahead of our trip.

Compared to other tour services, we especially appreciated this company’s policy of having a separate driver and a dedicated tour guide. The car/van was plenty large and easily accommodated our collapsible wheelchair.

Alex is an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable of the sights we visited. She spoke clearly and was very flexible to meet our needs. We especially enjoyed her stories and human-interest tidbits.

We highly recommend using this company.

I'm a big harry Potter fan but it's very pricey in my opinion, I'd lower the price. But worth going and plenty eatery's and coffee ☕ shops to have food in.

My husband is a huge Beatles fan so when we planned out trip to England I wanted to be sure we included a stop in Liverpool. I went for him but I ended up loving the whole day. Took early train to Liverpool. Visited the museum first then walked around and had lunch while we waited for our bus tour. The tour guide was great. He had lots of information and tidbits of trivia. Stopped to take lots of photos. Ended with a trip to the Cavern to listen to some music and have a beer. The tour was over but we walked around town until it was time to catch the train back to London. I wish we had stayed the night there as Liverpool had much more to see and do then we realized.

This was an amazing tour! Definitely worth the time on the train from London to Kendal and back. Our tour guide, Peter, was very friendly, passionate and well-informed about the history of Beatrix Potter and the Lake District. We were taken to a few breathtaking destinations around Windermere with just enough time at each spot to take photos and walk around. Lunchtime is spent in Hawkshead and if you’re not hungry you should check out the Beatrix Potter Gallery where you can view some of her original illustrations (there is a fee to get in). And it was a perfect ending to a perfect day with the ferry across the lake and finishing up with tea and scones at Lindeth Howe – just enough of a pick-me-up for the train back to London.

Such a fun and comprehensive experience! We enjoyed learning about the little known tid-bits along the way, exploring the hidden gems you don't always get a chance to see on a walking tour and learning about the history as well. Windsor Castle was amazing. Our guide, Dewi, was a wealth of information, one of the best tours I've ever taken. Excellent!
