- Alexis W15 contributionsWe did this tea tour on our first day in London and it was such a wonderful way to get to see so many of the sights in one trip while simultaneously enjoying a delicious afternoon food break. We booked the VIP seats right at the front of the top deck to get to see as much as possible and enjoyed every minute of it! We were sadly delayed due to a road accident nearby and let the restaurant know. They were very accommodating and permitted us to enjoy afternoon tea when we arrived later than expected. The cakes were amazingly designed and the savoury snacks were also really nice. Our guide Jonoko was great. An excellent host, very knowledgeable and a very interesting storyteller. The jewel of the tour was going to Camden Town market, super colourful and lively! They dropped us off there and we had to walk nearly a mile to Rueben’s. I have trouble walking and that is why we selected this. Took over 30 minutes and I was whipped after trying to figure out how to get there. The restaurant gave away our table because we were late. Had a terrible time showing them we had paid thru the tour. Like it was the first time. Did not recognize our tour ticket.
