There are so many incredible food stands at this market. We wanted to buy everything! However, we made the mistake of going on a Saturday so it was packed! Long lines everywhere and it was nearly impossible to eat anywhere. We purchased some items to take home but had to eat lunch somewhere else. Definitely recommend visiting during the week!

Prices various lots to see , walking full length of street,we had a nice cold drink
& cool off in a cafe next to the cinema
    Very nice & reasonable prices
Staff great ,you can even watch food being prepared in the centre of the room
Only negative things on portabello road was hard to find a seat & not very wheelchair friendly to busy

Our trip to London was very fleeting and we had a strict itinerary. One of the things on that list was seeing the Morph statue designed by Tom Fletcher which was situated in Leadenhall Market. I didn't do any research into the place, we just went and we were blown away by the structural beauty of it. Such a fabulous find in the middle of a big city. Obviously as the name would suggest, there are shops in the market but we didn't hang around long enough to check them out, sadly.

Worth going if you like beautiful buildings and structures and also if you are a 'Potterhead' (fan of Harry Potter) as some scenes from 'Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone' were filmed here in 2000-2001.

We got here about 8.30am and it was already busy. Lovely range of garden plants, house plants and cut flowers. All great value and excellent condition. Lots of places to grab a morning coffee to drink as you browse. I think this is my new favourite market!

Great market with lots of little restaurants and bars. My friend live in the area and we went there one night. Drinks in one place, dinner at another and a few more drinks and dancing at the last place. We had a great night. Place really comes alive at night!

We cabbed from central London on a Sunday to check out this market. It was fun and interesting, though nothing really stands out. We saw everything from furniture to record albums to vintage clothing, and every type of prepared food you can imagine. We samples some mini-waffles with sugar and cinnamon, some chicken dumplings and coffee served out of an old black cab. It was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours and we will definitely return on a future trip to London. After we finished this market, we walked to the Columbia Street Flower Market which was full of...wait for it...flowers. It was a good way to spend time seeing a part of London that otherwise we likely would not have seen.

This is a cool and very pleasant place to visit, if you would like to experience a unique Brixton vibe. My impression is and I could be wrong, but this is where many locals shop and eat here. We ate at two small restaurants and the food was excellent and the prices very reasonable, considering this is London.
If I know anyone who is visiting Brixton I will definitely recommend a trip to Brixton Village.

This is a quintessential London experience gained by walking through the arcade. Frequented by many but really only for the super rich you will see diamonds, watches, pastries, perfumes - all at extortionate prices - whilst you are watched over by the uniformed security staff. Enjoy it!

I was last here just before the official 10.00am opening, on a Sunday morning. It was interesting to see the traders unpacking their boxes and setting out their wares ready for the weekend Covent Garden crowds.
This market is a good place to go if you like handmade jewellery, prints, watercolours and other handcrafts, which you’ll find from Tuesday to Sunday; antiques and collectibles are the order of the day on Mondays.
The market stalls are original from the days, long gone now, when Covent Garden was London’s busy wholesale fruit/vegetables/flower market.

Former church converted inte many different food and drink outlets. It is like something you have never seen before.
When we visited it was a massive heat wave and even inside the former church it was really hot and bad air.
However, we enjoyed a nice glas of cold and refreshing wine.Probably not a place you want to go to every week, but if you are a tourist in London it is a nice pitstop.
