We saw Mica Paris here earlier this week. What a woman! What a voice! I’m in admiration. Love Ronnie Scott’s as a jazz venue anyway but Mica Paris owned it.

First class authentic music venue. Attended the 18.30 set with John Drain and Marco Ferris who were truly amazing, enjoyed with a pint of real ale, what could be better!!

The very good: A great evening – the Jonathan Kreisberg Quartet played two wonderful, blistering sets of guitar jazz to a full house. A quiet (QUIET) but very appreciative crowd who were there for the music and not to chat. Great service from our waiter Skender.

The faintly annoying: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE decide on a policy in relation to which door punters are supposed to use to enter the venue, stick to it and communicate it clearly to both punters and staff alike. Last night we arrived to find a note on the external gate telling punters to enter the club through the restaurant – but there was someone queuing at the gate, and when we spoke to him he said he said he had been told by the host that the external gate/door would be opened at 18.30 (so why the notice?). We (and a number of others) duly waited in the cold until, at 18.35, it was clear that the gate was not going to be opened – so I went inside the restaurant and ask the host what was happening. He seemed surprised to hear that the gate was not open, and went downstairs to investigate, while I went to re-join those waiting outside. Two minutes later not one but two members of staff came out of the restaurant and said that the weather was too cold for the external gate/door to be opened, and that everyone should enter the club through the restaurant. This is not a one-off – I have lost count of the times that we have played do-si-do like this. It is obvious that from October – April the weather is too cold and inclement to use the external door, so why not simply adopt entry through the restaurant as the default position and do away with all this nonsense?

We had an amazing time at Crazy Coqs. Our experience was faultless. Going to the Jazz Dynamos gig was one of my parents' 60th wedding anniversary gifts and they were presented with a plate with an anniversary message written in chocolate adorned with macarons. This was a very thoughtful touch because I had mentioned it was their anniversary. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The Jazz Dynamos were brilliant and the singer very kindly dedicated a song to them. My parents had "one of their best nights ever." Thank you very much Crazy Coqs for making my parents so happy!!!! I have nothing but positive things to say about this venue :)

The Piano Bar is a small, intimate setting with amazing shows. You feel right on top of the band. We saw Andy Davies Trumpet Kings. All of the performers were standouts. "A Nightingale Sand in Berkely Square" was beautifully done

Visited here this week - interesting basement layout - about half the size of Ronnies if people want a comparison - the membership - music cost - alcohol is a bit of a thing but not an issue if yr eating - food is ok - bear in mind this isn’t a restaurant it’s a jazz venue - good intimate music vive - - the rear bar is a good idea to keep talkative drinkers out of the way - suggest don’t get stuck on a cane chair really uncomfortable - arrival reception was a bit brusque but ok - I think they maybe defensive of those who arnt Jazz fans - clientele is varied and I’d say more officiando than the show offs who talk through performances at RONNIES - so well worth a visit def go again

Great little bolthole for spending the evening listening to jazz with a partner or friends. On the evening we were there, we listened to a duo playing Dizzee Gillespie tunes ranging from mellow ballads to energetic and upbeat tunes. If you're after a more relaxed and chilled vibe you can visit the Shed next door for less serious music, more jams and what seemed like younger musicians getting a place on the stage. The small plates and drinks were delicous in the Shed and the staff very friendly. I've heard of the Piano Bar which is also affiliated which I'm keen to check out. All in all, a great find in London for meeting with friends while listening to some good jazz. 👌🎷🎶

We went to this little club to see a Pink Floyd tribute band, On The Run, who were amazingly as near to Pink Floyd as you could get. It was a friendly place with a comfortable vibe. As a 75 year old female I didn’t feel out of place!

My first visit and it won’t be the last, to this end of month event organised by Rose, who’s very friendly and welcoming. There are various DJ’s playing an eclectic mix of Soul, House, R&B & reggae to an eclectic mix of people. Good vibe, friendly people and great music, well worth a place saver in your diary.

It was my first time at this place today (18 March) and I really enjoyed. I called one day before and got a table in front of the stand.. maybe a table in the back would had been better. Definitely I will ask for it next time. The venue looks like that very underground places you find around London. A small door that takes you to a basement and there a tiny bar but an open area where a band will play.
Pretty cool indeed. We saw a quartet. Great music. I am aware there are shows almost every evening and they allow the students from Greenwich university to play as well. U can take ur own food to the place.. I saw a couple that brought cupcakes but I am not sure if people will really take food there. It is £10 cash to enter. But the bar you can pay with card. I would just had enjoyed more if they serve cocktails. Jazz and cocktails are perfect match. But definitely I will come back.

Cosy looking bar & restaurant & the music from Tom & Geary was really good.
The young waitress (Becky) was very efficient & attentive. She went through the menu and brought our drinks straight away, plus the food as soon as it was ready.
When the Covid restrictions are lifted eventually, this will be a great venue.

We went to this venue for a gig downstairs. Before the gig we sat upstairs and enjoyed a beer. I really liked the ambiance of the place, cosy lighting and tables. Quite romantic in a cool way! The staff at the bar were really attentive and friendly.
