- Lisa SLincolnshire, UKCame here as part of coach holiday what a improvement really clean beach now went here 13rh jan 2025 with my partner Neil and went on the south side and central side of blackpool beaches very safe and very clean now the north side pier and town and beaches needs much improving a lot of dirt and dog mess and homeless about I've been to blackpool now 4 times in few years it's getting better with safety and cleaniness especially south side blackpool but the north pier it needs reinvesting and money poured in the police and council need to do some regeneration at the north side shore only the amusements and arcades are open and few shops open at the north side brown dirty sea water as well does not look safe to go in at the north pier blackpool I wouldn't risk it there was some homeless people asking for money a couple of times but they never caused any trouble one of them young ish homeless wished me a good day very poilte they don't cause any bother I felt quite sorry for some of them. I hope blackpool north shore side gets the uplift and regeneration because those poor people on the streets cant survive in the cold dark streets its 2025 now and its depressing to see I could have cried going back to the hotel it was really run down and dirty at the north pier honestly it was depressingWritten January 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kitty GStaffordshire, UKVisited here with my service user as I am a support worker, and it was an excellent visit. Most areas were on the flat which was really helpful do to my service user and their mobility. I found all staff friendly and helpful, whether they were on reception, worked in the cafe or were a zoo keeper - they were brilliant.
Love the viewing areas where you can see animals better. The tiger one was a bit scary at first as you turn into the viewing area and this great big tiger is coming towards you and you then realise its a full length piece of glass between you.
We had a lovely experience here and cannot fault the place.Written January 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Long walk on the beach, sandy beach.Written November 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Beth MSheffield, UKWe decided to book afternoon tea in the tower today and honestly it was lovely! We were greeted by a lovely gentleman before being led to the seating area. The tables were so posh and we loved that they had a proper tea set on the tables. The waitress we had was lovely too! Fast service and the food/drinks were so nice!
The ballroom is so beautiful and I was mesmerised by all the dancers, some took it very seriously but I loved watching the older couples that were just having a bit of fun and it really did make me smile.
We didn’t dance (due to me being extremely pregnant) but we loved listening to the music/watching.
If you enjoy a chilled out afternoon and love watching people dance then this is the place for you.Written January 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Getting in was quick and easy but I would recommend getting one locker per person, as they are small! You get your locker money back at the end anyway.
The waterpark is big and there's lots of seating areas dotted around the site. There's also an indoor cafe. We didn't use it, but I saw people getting hot food and drinks.
There's two big pools with a lazy river and there's an area for small children. My daughter's not so small now, so that didn't concern me, but it looked like there wasn't much for the little ones.
There's around 6-7 slides in the whole park, so not much really, and they're not bad, but could be better. Some of them are in complete darkness, where as in other indoor waterparks I've been to they've had lights inside them and music etc.
Some slides do have photo opportunities though, which was very cool and the technology they use to retrieve your photos at the end is very clever!
It's worth a visit if you like waterparks but like the title says, there is better out there if you do your research.Written January 19, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Always ask what deals they do for groups once on board. Ticket collectors really helpful and friendly.Written January 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- What an experience and 10/10
Christmas Day Extravaganza
Food was superb and well presented and just right amount of time between courses
Excellent table service and no queues for drinks
Entertainment from start to finish was excellent with songs plenty of laughs and the quiz was great fun
Santa also paid a visit for the kids so something for everyone
The venue was spotless and all the staff were professional and very friendly especially Paul and nothing was too much trouble for them
The best Christmas Day I can remember and would definitely recommend a visit to Viva for Christmas Day and definitely excellent value for money - you won’t be disappointedWritten January 3, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - My family and I visited on a Sunday morning which was great, because it was quiet and you could take your time and get plenty of photos.
Some of the wax works are brilliant and look just like who they're supposed to, but some are a little sketchy.
The overall experience is very good though and it took us around an hour and a half.
There's some professional photo opportunities along the way, such as getting your photo with The Hulk, hanging off a building with Spider Man, sitting on a Blackpool beach deckchair.
There's lots of different rooms, and all are presented very well. My wife and daughter loved the Strictly Come Dancing room where they were playing judges and gave a "10 from Len!". There's also a Match Of The Day section, Marvel, Buckingham Palace, Corronation Street, music, VIP party, I'm A Celebrity! where you can pretend to be in a Bushtucker Trial and more!
It's great fun and all a bit of a giggle and I'd highly recommend for a family outing.Written January 19, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My 2 year old granddaughter really enjoyed it and there were lots of Wow moments. Lots of child height exhibits. The fish and other creatures looked healthy and the exhibits were clear and really interesting. Would recommend.Written December 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sally MPeterborough, UKI went here for Rebellion 2024. So many bands, so many friends! It's very busy but worth everything to enjoy my music under one roof. Lines were manageable and security were nice. Food options are available and also alcohol if you drink. You can exit and enter as often as you wish just be prepared for bag searches. I think bag sizes are limited - which is a good thing in my opinion. Plenty of merch to buy.Written January 19, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
