- Rocky SpotterYorkshire, UK9 contributionsWe always enjoy a trip to Blackpool Zoo and yesterday was no exception. Friendly staff member on the entrance. It was lovely to see the improvements in the Big Cat area.Written September 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alison2 contributionsI would have given you five out of five, Brandon was a fantastic help, very friendly and helpful, unlike the unhelpful man who sold us four separate tickets, in stead of a group ticket.
You need more Brandon’s on your trams.Written September 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I think it was very unfair being a quiet day to do this as myself and another couple of bigger guys missed out and the Enso seats weren't being used, just a suggestion that maybe when using the Enso train you could make the last regular seats have larger belts. Apart from this we had a good day and Valhalla didn't disappoint after it's reimagining and we rode it twice in a row and the only other thing was Grand National is very rough now and needs retracking as the Big Dipper is smoother now and more enjoyableWritten September 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JimboReading, UK36 contributionsHorrible weather when we visited - our group was the last allowed outside up the top due to the winds. If a windy day when you go, bear in mind it may be closed. Had to watch a 4d experience which was unexpected when all we wanted was to go to the top, but I guess without this it would have been a very short visitWritten September 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 3sevensAughrim, Ireland35 contributionsGreat place to relax for a couple of hours watching the various couples on the dance floor, some professionals (amazing to see them in action) some reliving times past, some just enjoying themselves. The Guy at the door (Francis) so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The tower is a really nice experience.Written September 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Di and AbiDrybrook, UK93 contributionsWe enjoyed our visit and it was lovely that it's very wheelchair friendly.
Some of the waxworks aren't great but you get the idea of who they are meant to be.
My daughter loved the Thor exhibit and my favourite was the coronation street exhibit where you can stop and enjoy a drink in the 'rovers return' and see bet lynch behind the bar.
It was great fun for a couple of hours and we took loads of photos.
The gentleman running the lift was lovely and told us which way to go and advised us of the different exhibits we could see.Written September 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We have been missing out on a fantastic venue.
It is a lovely venue with friendly helpful staff on reception and in the venue itself . The layout is ideal with decent views of the stage from all tables.
The host of the show Leye D Johns is hilarious and outrageous and immediately engages with the audience and is cleverly involved throughout the show.
Now onto the show . We went to see Decades rewind. WOW . It was incredible . The singing was excellent, the choreography amazing with multiple fabulous costume changes and the backdrop was fantastic.
I have seen many shows over the years and can honestly say that this was the most professional, well thought through and entertaining show I have been lucky to see.
We will definitely be visiting on a regular basis now as they have a wide variety of shows available throughout the year

Good exhibits though and busier than expected for a midweek day in September. - debbs716 contributionsStanley Park is a beautiful addition to Blackpool. I am very proud of it. The groundskeepers do an amazing job.Written September 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark W1 contributionI'm 41 and live in Blackpool. I watched this ride being built as a kid and have been on it many times over the years inc 31 times this year. I have a piece of the original '94 track as a doorstop in my kitchen. As you climb to the top you get stunning views across the fylde coast. Look to your left for the worlds biggest mirrorball or to your right to see the UK's only surviving Victorian era tower or straight on to watch the sun bounce off the Irish Sea. The first drop is intense. Like nothing else I've ever done or been on. The scale of it is ridiculous. The rest is fun but it is an old ride now and you do get smacked about. It doesnt stop me going on it at every oppurtunity. the rough bits are where you would expect when a dramatic changes to the track like the dips between two climbs. I know when to tense my core and find it amusing listening to a chorus of moans. When it is quite though half the people go straight back on it which speaks volumes.Written September 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Si'Leicester, UK837 contributionsLocated at the South Pier end of the Promenade in Blackpool, we visited here one Sunday morning - when you book it has to be online and you get a 3 hour slot - which you choose.
My daughter and i had the 9.30am - 12.30pm slot.
We walked straight in, it has mixed changing rooms, with individual and family changing areas, which are a good size.
The lockers are open and closed by electronic wristband which you pay for when you book, you get £2 back from it when you hand it in on departure.
It was ok for the first hour an half or so then it got ridiculously busy, so much so that you were literally bumping into people. There must of been around 200 people in there by the time we left at 12.30pm.
Apart from that, i couldn't fault it, the slides were great fun, and although queuing was at each slide, it was not for long. The queues looked worse than they were as they soon went down.
My two favourites were the Master Blaster and the Sidewinder.
The changing rooms do have mirrors and hairdryers, they also have a drying machine you can stand in (see pic) - that is for lazy people that do not know how to hand dry themselves.
There is ample seating area in the water park as they have a cafe area, however there is not any seating areas inside the pool/slides area for non taking parters!
There is also a pushchair parking area to keep pushchair safe whilst inside the water park.
The only negative i would say is the cost, £24 i feel is a bit steep. If it was priced at £15 for what you get, bearing in mind how many people they pack in, i would say that was more reasonable.
I would recommend this place if you have young children as they would like it.

The Victorian architect Frank Matcham's brief, was to build the "prettiest theatre in the land” he certainly achieved that. The staff are friendly and helpful, I am registered visually impaired and found the directions/assistance to locate my seat helpful. The toilets were clean. Finally the show we saw.. the haunting of Blaine manor was excellent. So much so that a fellow theatre goer was back for a second viewing. The cast and production team rightly deserved the standing ovation we gave. - Pam RLiverpool, UK37 contributionsWe went to see Dirty Dancing at the Winter Gardens. What a fabulous show myself and my husband enjoyed every minute from start to finish and I would highly recommend the show. However the wine was over £10 for a 250ml glass which I think is extortionateWritten September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TopherNewcastle upon Tyne, UK7 contributionsWe really enjoyed spending some time having a read of the carpet, since we definitely found some funny quotes and also many classics. It's clearly maintained very well as it looks pristine and also looks great from the Blackpool Tower Eye. I would definitely recommend this if you have a bit of time to kill during your visit!Written August 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChrisHinckley, UK849 contributionsWe were staying in the area and had a walk along the promenade which was nice and you could see all of the lights along the road etc. We also saw a number of trams which were lit up and different models such as a steam train and a ship etc which was good to see.Written September 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
