- TheCarmeleonCanterbury, UK30 contributionsDunorlan Park is a great location to go for a walk when the weather is fair. The path around the lake is quite pleasant, as is the wide variety of wildlife.Written March 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jan M1 contributionOMG where shall I start We went on the Spa Valley Railway to celebrate my 60th birthday with my Sexy 7 friends. Jackie, Ray and Spud have a day we will not ever forget. We had a ball and 3 times all the passengers sang Happy Birthday to me. Well we just didn’t want to get off. Thank you all so much guys for making my birthday celebrations even more special and we will be back to see you all again soon. Lots of love Jan and the Sexy 7 ❤️❤️❤️Written May 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Peter EWickham Market708 contributionsA real National Trust treasure. We arrived early so started with morning coffee/ cream tea! Then a look around the garden. They are so well kept; there are two “myths”! The dinosaur footprint in the quarry area, and the monthly “special scone”! We also enjoyed a jacket potato lunchWritten May 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TheCarmeleonCanterbury, UK30 contributionsThe Grounds are a pleasant place for a walk, no matter the time of year due to their mixed landscape garden. They’re the sort of place where it is easy to kill some time if you’ve arrived at the train station too early, or if you want to get out and get some fresh air. I’d recommend.Written November 16, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dave SmithLondon, UK182 contributionsBeen here a few times, stopped in as we were in the area and fancied a walk and a cup of tea. There was a flower festival in the house, each room has floral displays which was a bonus, as we probably wouldn’t have gone in there otherwise, also saw a large grass snake swimming across the moat, it’s rare to see a U.K. danger noodle, rarer still to see one swimming, so extra points for that! We arrived later in the day and found out at the car park entrance that they have a on line booking system to guarantee a parking spot, but, as it was later in the day, we could get in as cars had left. Gardens were starting to bloom and it will be a riot of colour in a few weeks.Written April 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Steve P4 contributionsFantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our introduction to climbing with Hamish who is an amazing instructor who worked closely with us, building on skills we already had and blending them with the basics give us a truly unique experience.
It’s was nice to be greeted early in the morning by staff who were friendly and inviting, who knew what they were doing and clearly enjoy it.
The facilities were clean, well organised and well maintained. All safety information was easily received digitally, and sign in was a breeze. It’s nice to see facilities using technology to improve the customer experience.
Overall I am extremely impressed and will certainly be coming back again.Written April 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - The_PendulumLondon, UK6 contributionsRIP Fenton’s. Why did you close down?
This was a great place but doesn’t seem to be open this winter. I loved this place, please come backWritten November 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Oli G2 contributionsExcellent relaxed and fun climbing lesson with a knowledgeable and patient instructor. Clearly a highly experienced instructor who's very knowledgeable of the local area the practices that are best suited to it.Written June 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Spalady80Surrey_UkOxted, UK177 contributionsLovely period building, nice cafe area with a nice selection of cakes.
Pleasant staff, and happy to help if needed.
We visited to see the wizard of oz with my mum and 4yr old.
It was a great show, the tickets were a fair price and we had great seats .
Parking nearby was easy and I would definatly visit again.Written May 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - One_Bad_MofoSevenoaks, UK162 contributionsThe Forum is NME's Best Small Venue and after a night here it's easy to see why. The place simply oozes character and charm, no surprise as it was once a Victorian public toilet.
It's a wonderfully intermate venue and it would be difficult to think of a venue where you can get as close to the acts on stage.
There's a decent bar selection and the staff are friendly and welcoming but a cloakroom would be a huge benefit.Written October 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - TheCarmeleonCanterbury, UK30 contributionsGrosvenor & Hilbert Park is great for a quick walk in the sunshine, especially given the large areas of green spaces and ponds to explore. There are also swings and climbing frames to help keep the kids busy.Written March 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Michael SGrays Thurrock, UK375 contributionsArrived a good 45 mins before start and easy to get in (quick look at the printed tickets). Toilets down stairs, which were good and big, the upstairs to the bar area. Its expected to be expensive for food/drink and you will not be disappointed. However I paid £16 for a ticket so I think it kind of offset these normal theatre costs.
The theatre was big, and we were only 8 rows from the front so had a really good view. Everything run smoothly and the seating was fine, and though my daughter did not use they seemed to have loads of booster seats.
We parked at the Mount Pleasant car park, which was a 5 min walk to the theatre.Written October 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AndyCornsBury, UK580 contributionsVery quiet, clean, well kept shopping centre. As a variety of shops.
Embarrassing, calling Subway a food court, in need of more outlets or franchiseWritten July 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - john11hartleyFittleworth, UK74 contributionsThoroughly worth a visit - something a little different from most CofE parish churches. Apparently the 'mother' church of Tunbridge Wells and a little way from the spring which started it all off. Late C17th with galleries remaining and marvellous plasterwork ceilings of that period. Illustrated guide (£2.50) explains it all beautifully. Army of parishioners lovingly cleaning up t'heir' church after Christmas - welcoming visitors as they did so. Don't miss if you're anywhere near the Pantiles - and we found parking nearby without ant problem!Written December 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MokkaCVEast Sussex, UK5 contributionsOn our visit it was very quiet and not many people there , we didn’t use any of the other facilities apart from the toilets which were nice and clean.
These are the only toilets available , so if you are going walking etc then make sure you spend a penny before venturing off.
Bewl Water is lovely if you want a long walk or a bike ride ( 12-13 miles) .
Part of the track was shut off to bikes when we visited due to very wet ground but that didn’t stop some people totally ignoring the signs.
Most of the walk going around is by the water or very near but some part of it does go out onto lanes so be mindful of this if going with children due to vehicles using the same lanes .
The car park for the day was about £5 when we visited so , pack a picnic and it makes a nice cheap day out.Written May 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
