St Catherine's Lighthouse Niton

... - we are a family of two adults and two children aged 9 and 6 - we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the vast experience and knowledge of Bob (our tour guide) and the amazing views across the sea and coastline.
Our guide, Bob Owens, spoke with passion and humour about a lighthouse with a fascinating history and the view from the top, both of the coast and the light itself is stunning.
Godshill Model Village Godshill
#1 of 3 Sights & Landmarks in Godshill
... from archeological digs to the village band, a vision of Shanklin Chine which inspired us to visit the 'real' site and a wonderful assortment of witty characters and scenes, displayed with great humour and love.
However one of the views I remember was of looking at the recreation of Godshill church with the original towering over it in the background.

St Boniface Old Church Bonchurch
#1 of 1 Sights & Landmarks in Bonchurch
It helped that we arrived at the church on a hot summer day, but as the bend is turned and the top of the church came in to view, it was an astonishing sight.
It seems likely that it stands on the site of a former Saxon Church which dates back to the eighth century, For many years it was reputed to be the smallest church in the country.

Farringford Estate Freshwater
#2 of 4 Sights & Landmarks in Freshwater
There is an audio programme to play for each of the rooms on the house tour, which was really useful if you cannot climb the stairs to view the upstairs rooms.
Only criticism is the windows are covered up to preserve the interior from sunlight which means you miss out on the views.
