Malmesbury Abbey Malmesbury 4.6 mi away
#1 of 2 Sights & Landmarks in Malmesbury
One of the most important historic sites in England, with Norman masonry and the grave of King Athelstan, grandson of Alfred the Great and first King of England.
Seemed a way round to the long stay car park, but the view from the North is worth it as the Abbey is imposing; then walk to the Abbey and enter from the South, its much softer.
