We had a lovely day out at the farm park, the chick handling was a big hit with our 2 year old as well as all the play areas, so many to choose from. We were lucky to come on the opening day for the pumpkin patch and it was nice and quiet, we got to meet Adam and his dog Gwen, both were very friendly. The pumpkin patch on a blue sky day was beautiful and so well thought out for kids and refreshments for adults! It’s always such a great day out, mainly aimed at younger kids so we will be sad when the kids outgrow the farm park

Amazing good couple of hours with Clare and her beautiful birds. We had been let down at the last minute by a nearby venue and Clare fitted us in on a morning session even bringing along a barn owl especially for us too. So much information and such lovely and obviously well cared for and loved birds. If we weren't so far away would love to spend time with her other owls. Maybe another time... Highly recommended.

Not a theatre buff by any means. But do enjoy the theatre occasionally. Especially the Everyman in Cheltenham. Parking is close and easy. Bar before performance is a must, staff very friendly and helpful. Saw the first night performance of "Table Manners" very enjoyable, funny and good acting.

We visited with our little boy. He’s autistic and we’re always looking for new experiences for him. We went to an open bounce but they do SEN sessions once a month too. We had an excellent time and felt really well supported and will be back.

    Before we went:
The website has a good video that we could show our son what it would look like.

    On arrival:
There was a short wait time and you have to fill in a short disclaimer. You can see the inflatable from the entrance and there’s no physical barrier. It may be worth sending an adult in ahead to do the check in if your child struggles with waiting. The lack of barrier is definitely something to be aware of if your child elopes as they can come off the inflatable and towards the exit.

The receptionist was lovely. It’s excellently priced and you could either pay for 1 or 2 hour bounce. A carer can get in free with proof, which is great because our son needed some support on the inflatable.

You can use your own socks which is great to sensory needs. You can also buy their branded ones.

You are also given a paper wristband. I didn’t check whether I could have worn both as my son can now tolerate these.

    Safety briefing:
The safety briefing is in a small room to the right as you go in. The video is relatively short. The video is a cartoon style.

    The inflatable:
We arrived slightly after the designated time so we were allowed straight into the inflatable. If you join just before, you will have to wait until the start time of the session.

    Noise levels:
I was actually quite surprised that the blowers weren’t overly load. It has the general ambiance of soft play so I’d recommend bringing headphones for those that benefit from them.

    Obstacles:
There are so many awesome experiences and lots of opportunities for super sensory seekers. The big slide has two ways to get up. There were staff sitting at the top to tell you when it was to safe to slide and jump. They were both great and gave simple clear instructions. I’d definitely recommend being on the inflatable to support if your child struggles with waiting/instructions. Generally our waits were quite short (max 0-15 seconds). On busier days I feel this may be longer.

The crash mat was a particular favourite (can’t beat a bit of proprioceptive fun). If you have a child that needs supporting climbing and at the top, be ready to do a lot of climbing.

He also loved the inflatable wipeout machine and I was able to stand in the corner of this and support. The wipeout style balls were a big hit too.

    End of session:
At the end of the session there’s a loud announcement over the speaker.

    Things we’d love to see:
    - I’m sure we’d been allowed if we’d asked but a parent swap system as it can be quite tiring running after sen kiddos.
    - small quiet corner with beanbags
    - borrow Sen bags/especially headphones
    - accessibility page on the website with a
    - barrier between entrance and inflatable for kids who like to elope.

We absolutely loved our session and will be back. Staff were amazing with my son. Highly recommend!

Beautiful sunny day, arrived at Lido for 10.50, all parking spaces gone. Definitely not enough parking in peak season but we found another next to a wetherspoons (Moon under the Sea) in town (ended up stopping on way back) and had a lovely and easy 10 minute walk through the parks which was a better option as I saw 2 cars get bumped in car park and long queues of people.

Lido itself was very clean, and lawned areas looked after, pool was huge and with 2 slides the children were kept entertained for the session. Lifeguards were on it all day so very safe for your families.

Watching seagulls swoop down on unsuspecting visitors dinner was entertaining, don't turn your back on these sneaky blighters, they were even in the pool picking up dropped chips from their robbing spree!

Cafe on site was clean, not big queues.

A big thumbs up from us 👍

A little piece of heaven for petrol heads! Already the second time that we came to here this year. Next year we will come back. Don't forget to visit the small Bugatti museum when you are there.

Cotswold Alpacas, what a lovely morning. Great introduction to the Alpacas with some educational information by the knowledgeable staff. Alpacas were friendly and keen to walk. My wife was so excited as it was a surprise. She wants to go again when the new babies become grown up.

Thought we’d pop to the re-opening weekend of the Wilson as we were staying locally with friends. The place was buzzing and inviting and a breath of fresh air from the normal stuffy museum experience.

The old part of the gallery was closed due to building requirements but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the visit. The local historical information and artefacts etc were interesting as always, but enhanced by the connection with local arts and crafts history and the Arts and Crafts Movement (William Morris etc). There were also good . exhibitions relating to sustainable fashion and diversity. The archive room is also worth spending some time in, with lots of Edward Wilson info. There was interactive stuff for kids, and a great well priced restaurant on the ground floor. All in all well worth taking time out for a look.p
