What a wonderful place! We paid a visit on our anniversary as both animal lovers. I especially loved the goats and got to see 2 just born. We arrived shortly after a new born Highland calf had arrived, too. Absolutely magical place!

I booked this as a surprise for my husband's birthday. It was so fun, informative and I loved the experience. If you are looking for something really cool, I couldn't recommend this highly enough! Thanks so much for a great day!

Here is a lovely area to walk and relax away from the city centre with lots of interesting places - the pump house , and cafes for example - popular but not crowded, there was a nice friendly feel to the place and people we met

Plenty of good restaurants in the area and the Queens Hotel is a great place to stay. We had some issues with the smoke alarm going off in the middle of several nights and I got locked in the bathroom twice. However, Frank, who was one of the managers gave us a voucher for free drinks in the bar and when we departed we were given 30% off our bill, which was very much appreciatede.

Visit twice in Feb/March. Fantastic seats and shows and doesn’t feel too claustrophobic like many theatres! Already booked our next show!

Much improved facilities since the renovation particularly around the paddock area but same old problem...cans of awful wine (£2 in a shop) being sold for either £9 or £12 and you know already...a pint of Guinness at £7.50 etc etc...thankfully they've ditched the cardboard cup...the racing...fantastic just don't treat us like drunken mugs please

We spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around Hailes Abbey, where we could freely wander around exploring the ancient ruins. It is a very peaceful site, under the sharp edge of the Cotswold escarpment. A lovely, albeit small, museum of relics and carved stonework is well worth a few minutes and you can enjoy a leisurely coffee or cold drink from the shop. Take in the near 800 years of history, without crowds or the hubbub of modern life. Recommended.

I visited here with my mom and 13 year old brother, and really enjoyed it. The history of the house and Holst’s family history was very interesting to us, and both staff members were friendly and informative. Definitely recommend if you’re a fan of classical music and you’re in Cheltenham!

Fabulous evening learning about gin botanicals and tasting 4 different gins. Jo was knowledgeable and passionate about creating unique gins, and offering guidance about garnishes and mixers. Jo engaged us all with her friendly discussions about everything gin, and happy to answer any questions we had. Even shared with us the tonic that they use, which was less gassy and more subtle than our usual one.

Thought we’d pop to the re-opening weekend of the Wilson as we were staying locally with friends. The place was buzzing and inviting and a breath of fresh air from the normal stuffy museum experience.

The old part of the gallery was closed due to building requirements but it did not detract from our enjoyment of the visit. The local historical information and artefacts etc were interesting as always, but enhanced by the connection with local arts and crafts history and the Arts and Crafts Movement (William Morris etc). There were also good . exhibitions relating to sustainable fashion and diversity. The archive room is also worth spending some time in, with lots of Edward Wilson info. There was interactive stuff for kids, and a great well priced restaurant on the ground floor. All in all well worth taking time out for a look.p

This was our first visit to Prescott Hill Climb and we arrived on Friday to camp for 2 nights. The Reception staff were helpful and Nigel (Head Groundsman) and Scott (the Bar Manager) were attentive, helpful and friendly to the extent they lent us cutlery and gave us BBQ kindling we’d forgotten.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, the venue was immaculately presented and we will be back for future weekends.

Beautiful sunny day, arrived at Lido for 10.50, all parking spaces gone. Definitely not enough parking in peak season but we found another next to a wetherspoons (Moon under the Sea) in town (ended up stopping on way back) and had a lovely and easy 10 minute walk through the parks which was a better option as I saw 2 cars get bumped in car park and long queues of people.

Lido itself was very clean, and lawned areas looked after, pool was huge and with 2 slides the children were kept entertained for the session. Lifeguards were on it all day so very safe for your families.

Watching seagulls swoop down on unsuspecting visitors dinner was entertaining, don't turn your back on these sneaky blighters, they were even in the pool picking up dropped chips from their robbing spree!

Cafe on site was clean, not big queues.

A big thumbs up from us 👍

We have just visited the distillery today for a tour and gin tasting.
Hands down, it's the best tour and tasting we have been to.
These guys work damn hard!! They're humble, modest and proud of what they have achieved, and so they should be!
Thank you Felix and Sicily for today, but well done to you all on your success! Can't wait for the new bar to open!

Went with my wife and a couple of friends who are all keen gardeners, even as some one who only has a passing interest in gardening I was very impressed with our visit.
There’s a great couple of walks around the gardens that have thousands of snow drops, a lovely lake and very helpful staff.
The tea and cake was only £4 and the toilets were very clean.
    Well worth a visit
