- Expattraveler100Sarasota, FL4,542 contributionsAs you approach this wonderful architectural building wandering through gardens on a sunny day, I recommend before going in that you walk all around the outside as the elevations change at every angle! It’s £17 to get in so no cheap but take your time and wander around looking at the Indian and Chinese touches of brilliance - if you are in Brighton you should pay this place a visit - I’ve not seen anything like it elsewhere in the Uk !Written May 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- A22 contributionsLots of choice, some nice bars and shops to browse too. Good range of cafes too, had a really good toasty at a place, can't recall the name. It was near the pump house though.Written May 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Domenico DOxford, UK47 contributionsWent in the morning with the family and we loved it. Nice view of the sea and the whole city. maybe a bit pricey but I do recommend it if you are in BrightonWritten April 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Turtle5954Warrington, UK1,637 contributionsBut who cares, the sea is the sea. A stroll along after dinner, even if cold and windy, is still a great thing.Written May 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 723kellsLeicester, UK16 contributionsWe really enjoyed looking at the street art , the funny cards had to buy a few. The bakery cafe was a little expensive but different so didn’t mind paying it .the quirky shops was lovely to walk around in some very unusual items . The fudge shop was delicious. Would totally recommend goingWritten May 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Lucy TIsle of Wight, UK159 contributionsThere are some good rides on the pier but wristbands are quite expensive and we didn’t manage to make the most out of them with the time we had so probably best to pay as you go. There are some gift shops and plenty of places to grab a snack.Written May 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

We popped in the morning, but the gentleman on the counter told us they have had a technical problem and to come back in the afternoon. Luckily, the train operated and we went for a ride. The staff was very friendly and smiley. My son was so happy to “drive” the train. I wish they could operate the whole length, not just half way through.Written May 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kathy jackson21 contributionsIt was all good.the your guide was so knowedgable.we toured every bit of the stadium.I would highly recommend doing the stadium your and the end there is a little museumWritten May 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- DiscearningEaterFolkestone, UK32 contributionsThis is a great organisation to support for all the good projects they do around the world and there is a lot to see and do. Well worth it.
However, the glass bottomed boat is a bit of a scandal. For the price of £30 per person you get pulled across about a hundred yards and back again. No wonder I only saw two people go across it. It is worth avoiding.
As long as you don't pay for that you will be fine. An excellent afternoon.Written May 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Chris3 contributionsThe museum is under Brighton station which gives it an ambiance.
The model trains are amazing and you could make some go by pressing buttons. Most of my childhood toys were there!Written May 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Katherine2Littlehampton, UK64 contributionsIts a very "Grand" old theatre. I understand that, and that is the appeal for most theatre goers, BUT they must improve the toilet facilities! I was booked into the "Royal Circle" Around 200 seats, and TWO ladies toilets. People were queuing up the stairs (in peoples way) and nearly into the bar. The toilets did not flush! (took longer as ladies were waiting for the cistern to refill so they could flush, which was never gonna happen)! Most of the break was taken up with queuing for the toilets! The other thing was that they didnt open the bar for at least five minutes when we were all stood on the stairs waiting for our pre-ordered drinks. We were told "There is another bar downstairs, BUT we had all ordered drinks at the Royal Circle Bar. Very unorganised that particular day. Having said that, the lady I ordered from behind the bar when I first arrived was AMAZING. Chatted to me, told me about the show, (I was on my own so she made me feel welcome). Staff great, theatre beautiful. They need to improve it though. Work needs doing. Balcony not available as needs work it said. Not that one would like to stand outside in Winter, Theatre needs work, but the production itself was AMAZING.Written January 22, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- johnboymillsHullbridge, UK52 contributionsBit pricey if you don’t live in Brighton and get a great concession... which did make me feel as a visitor I was subsidising the local community! However, moan over, there are some great historical and quirky bits to be seen, and the artefacts are not all jam packed together ...Written March 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
