Absolutely everything! The hotel is lovely with fabulous sea views and in a great location, right beside the coastal paths and the cliff train.
The food is 5* with the best ever crossiants
The team are beyond amazing and truly make you feel looked after and at home. I did not want to leave and can not wait to go back.

We found this a quirky and interesting visit. Worth noting that he only takes cash which was initially irritating but actually when he explained his considerable interest in climate change, and thoughts about technology, it made sense. His exhibition on climate change was interesting and the views of the Gorge were lovely. He was an interesting and informative guy too.

We had the opportunity to stay at the lighthouse and it was lovely! However, at 30 weeks pregnant with two young children in tow as well, the steps were not easy! My parents who stayed also struggled with the steps to the lighthouse.
The road down is definitely not for the faint hearted! Although the NT site does say it’s not the most accessible, it might need to make that a bit clearer. We did love our stay though and even got to see dolphins as well as the beautiful sunsets.

Everyone has heard about the Lynmouth flood of 1952 which destroyed nearly 100 buildings in the villgae, many bridges and killed 34 people. The church was flooded but survived with no structural damage.

It is a simple building - early English rather than Victorian Gothic with its stone vaulted apse and lancet windows. The south aisle has an interesting exhibitoon about the Lynton flood.

Next to the car park, this is worth popping into.
