Excellent visit, very interesting I especially recommend the Tower tour, we were fortunate that on the day the views were stunning, even being able to see the cathedral in Liverpool.
you can climb the stairs to leading to a small chapel of prayer and light a candle of remembrance for your loved ones or climb the stairs up to top of the cathedral for a breathtaking view of everywhere.

... the walk up to White Nancy itself is rather steep and muddy when we went so sturdy shoes are a must although when you get up to the top (20 min or so walk from Church Street) its flat and the views are amazing.
