- janzen13Niagara Falls, Canada10 contributionsNice beach .big campsite .beach clean no loud music only downfall not a lot of places to fish from shore. Firepits too high out of ground need to be buried deeper.Written September 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Randy MOntario, Canada68 contributionsA nice spot - a gradual sand beach safe for children, warm water (unlike the Lake Ontario Sandbanks beach). theres a pay ticket machine for parking. It gets quite busy on nice days so go early -(10:00 am or before)Written September 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roch65Ottawa, Canada141 contributionsThis was my first time at Point Petre and it did not disappoint. The pebble beach is located on lake Ontario and the sight and sound of the waves crashing into the pebble beach and the rocks was a beautiful sight to see. We did not see any signs for Point Petre. We drove to the end of Army Road where there was a patch of grass where we parked. We could hear the sounds of the waves from here. We walked the short distance along a short dirt road until we got to the water.Written August 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I go here all the time in the middle of summer. Under-utilized place thats waiting for you.Written August 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- maplefoodieOttawa, Canada125 contributionsOutlet Beach is beautiful!! So clean, well kept and the water is perfect!! Lake Ontario is cold so best to go mid-July through August! The dunes are nice and waves are manageable so super safe for kids. Go early because parking is a pain!! There aren’t many shady spots so bring a beach tent or umbrella!Written March 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
