Mia is the greatest at Sandbanks. The wine tasting was amazing. Great service by Mia, she was very friendly.

The view from Lake of the Mountain Provincial Park across the bay is spectacular. Totally worth the stop, paid parking is questionable. 😉

Beautiful views, nothing I've ever seen before. The beach was clean and accommodating with facilities.

Easy to miss the path that leads down to the water, so keep an eye out. You can park in a small parking area, walk, or take your car down the road, but it is very narrow. We chose to do the walk, and it was a fairly easy walk, and once you are down by the water, the views are spectacular. The colours of the water were lovely.

Excellent place in the County to view an amazing amount of birds and learn how they are captured ( and released ) after banding. Worth the extra 10 minute drive.

Nice conservation are just south of Picton.
A mixture of trails when it comes to levels of difficulty.
Only problem is they charge for parking...in nature !!

Want to get out of your car and breathe some air,get away from crowds, throw a ball, park an overnight RV, launch a boat (on a good concrete ramp) with a finger dock, run the dog, have a picnic lunch, cast a worm with your kids and catch some perch, get a sun tan on the grass, go for a swim, play cards or read a book in the open shelter. I go here all the time in the middle of summer. Under-utilized place thats waiting for you.
