We stayed in Picton and decided to come here for a few hours with our 11 month old. The beach was beautiful, with great swimming water and beautiful dune beaches. We hiked the dunes, which was a bit difficult and hot (I had sandals on). It was definitely worth seeing!

On a Tuesday afternoon in late May we only had a short wait, and got on first time. Coming back on a Friday morning it was very quiet at the PEC end, though long queues on other side.

A local told us about this and we were glad she did!
A lovely patio overlooking the lake for a tea, drink or tasty offerings.

We had the trail to ourselves on a day with thunderstorms, but we managed to avoid them. Unusual plants, good underfoot, though repairs after the winter had not yet been done.

New owners…Great vibe…a must on your list in Picton.
The team is so friendly, the atmosphere is fun and the wine is yummy. The patio extends from the winery to the grass to covered shelters. There is a warm fire going and unique wood seats to enjoy. The fire wood pizza is scrumptious as it’s made with local ingredients. Wine is reasonably priced…my only regret…didn’t get enough but we can order it online. We stayed at the bnb loft which had great views and very cozy.
A big shout out to this amazing family on their wonderful new start.

If have been vacationing in PEC for years and we make we always make it a point of stopping and eating at at Parsons. With all the different beers that they brew and offers you are sure to find one that you will enjoy, I know I did… more then one. The food is excellent and this South American, Latin styles you will have a chance to experience a different taste on pub food. We always had a pleasant experience at Parsons. On the way out, stop by the store and maybe pick up some of your favorite tasting ales…

Big thank you and thumbs up to Jack, Flo and all the people at Diamond J Ranch. Went for a trail ride with my neice today. The horses were great and our guide Flo was so much fun.

With an 11 month old, it was hard to do all of the amazing wineries around Picton. This was the only one we stopped at. We are glad we chose it! We did two wine tastings, and the host was very kind and our daughter loved him. We bought four bottles of wine. It was excellent, all six we sampled were good. We then got a salad, cheese, and sausage and ate outside on a picnic basket as we had a glass of wine. This was a great spot if you have kids! Everyone was very kind and professional. It was very close to downtown as well

If you enjoy trying new taste in beer this is an excellent place to go. You can enjoy a flight of beer while engaging in some serious games such as Jenga or other board games. It was a very enjoyable surprise, just be aware that it gets busy on the weekend. This one place you should stop by.

It was early June after a stormy day, and quite cool, with a large puddle across the access path, but we found it wonderful to wander along the rocky beach, with waves and gulls, old willow trees, and an assortment of interesting plants. No one else around, but could be busy on a hot day in summer.

Definitely a welcoming spot. Our hostess was great. She introduced us to their beers and even offered to open cans of what wasn't available on the floor. The food kiosk on the deck was a very nice surprise. Great food. After a flight of beer the dark ale and Fast Eddy were my favourite. Piped in music was also great. Not sure where you would stay if it was raining but a good sunny place to visit.

Small shop, good variety of good craft brews and an nice but small informal patio with a great food truck (in season). Right now, during covid lockdown, a great deal on flat of 24.

A mixture of trails when it comes to levels of difficulty.

We stopped here to check out a specific artist's work and were impressed by the variety of work on display and for sale. The garden on the property looked lovely as well.

We decided to visit a new-to-us winery in the County since we visited about 75% of all wineries already in PEC. We were pleasantly impressed about this unassuming place. We tasted all wines available with the lovely Gaitress Gillen (an educated wine-host).

She explained briefly the history of Lighthall and all the wines we tasted.
Personally I like the Pinot Noir Bubbly, the Cabernet Franc (fantastic) and the Chardonnay. - And - it is the only winery in the County who make their own cheese. Please try it out.
