Great last minute hike. They have portosan type bathroom but better than nothing. Great hikes, we only did the small loop but it is a beautiful area and was worth it. I can't wait to go back and try the other trails. It's a little pricey if you are more than one person, if they had a good seasonal rate esp for non residents it would be better. But anyway you might have to pay for parking otherwise so it's ok.

We enjoyed most of the attractions. The place was clean and secure. The food menus could be improved by offering more healthy choices6. All in all à fun experience with my grand daughter of 3.

Very nicely run trout ponds and activity center. The rules are fair...no treble hooks, no catch and release. A nice getaway without having to drive for hours to find a good fishing spot. Delicious trout by the way.

5 Mountaineering Courses and an Ascent of Mount Washington! As an aspiring Mountaineer based in Toronto, I set out last September to find somewhere nearby that I could learn the essential skills of Mountaneering in a relatively short period. I was amazed that outside of Alberta and BC, there was nowhere else in Canada where I could get all of the essential skills taught to me by a certified USMG guide in one facility and with both accommodation and both rock and ice walls within a short distance. That place is Attitude Montagne ( mountain attitude) located near St. Sauveur about one hour north of Montreal.
I arrived for a two week stay in January and learned Avalanche Safety Training; Navigation; Mountaineering One and Two (everything from knots; belaying; crampon and piolet skills to crevasse rescue and ice climbing) and then Mountaineering Three which required me and the other student to plan our ascent of Mount Washington (NH) in all respects including selecting a route based on weather, Avalanche and terrain conditions using the skills we had learned and the many internet based resources we had been introduced to. The last two days found us executing our ascent with sturdy Domenic supervising us and culminating in a glorious first ascent and an excellent dinner we made for ourselves at the Harvard Cabin. I can't say enough about Domenic, Isabelle, Louis-Phillipe and the entire team at Attitude Montagne: there's is the best facility in Eastern Canada to learn mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, and they are true professionals (Domenic is one of a very few Canadain guides certified by the US Mountain Guides association and all of his guides have to pass a very rigorous standard that he sets ), and they run an excellent operation. In addition to the climbing centre (with accomodation) in St. Adolphe d' Howard, they lead guided tours year round to lots of great climbing destinations. I am going to Peru this summer with them and can't wait to go. I urge you to go to their website at www.attitudemontagne.com, check out the courses and trips and don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed. My experience with them has made many new things possible for me.

We stayed at Hotel Mt. Gabriel, and just outside the door is the top of Ski Mont Gabriel. It's a nice little hill, and given the location and the deal the hotel had for lift tickets, it was a great little hill to ski.

Took three of my kids for night skiing on Monday during March Break. Great hill. We had a blast but it's too bad they shut down from I believe 23 to 8 runs open at night. There were at least 4 runs that were closed at night despite being lit. I don't understand the logic.
Other than that it was amazing. Everytime we came down the hill there wasn't a person waiting at the chair lift.
My kids got to experience double diamonds for the first time with very few others on the hill.
I hadn't skied at Chantecler for well over 20 years, back when there was two hills.
    Definitely going back next year.

Did the Deveault loop, we are a bit rusty but it was an intermediate hike and we managed it! Well marked trail, beautiful forest and we felt that it provided healing! Can't wait to come back and try other trails!

Wow! What a great spa retreat spot! We loved every minute. Friendly staff always ready to assist.
We took the "all-in" package therefore all stations were accessible to us. Everything from saunas, to pressotherapy and relaxing salt room. We tried eveything at least once and came back the next day to do our favorites. We didn't want to leave!

If you're looking to book a massage, I recommend doing it ahead of you stay. Reflexology was a great end to our 2-day retreat. Try it!

Last time I went to Bagni (a year ago), I had reviewed the place stating that I wouldn't return...
Well, I've grown wiser since then, and believe in things getting better. Furthermore, a second visit is always a much more solid experience leading to a more credible review.
Well, this time around, I am not less disappointed. However, I do come to appreciate the intimacy this place has and offers. Everything is small. Everything is condensed. And everything is simple and natural.
However, and like about 3/4 of all spas, they do have a hard time grasping the essential basics of hot/cold stations. Much as their immediate neighbor (Polar Bear's Club), the cold stations are mainly far from the hot stations. Exception made for the dry spas which are 5-second walk away from the river. But, the whirpool spa and the steam baths are far away from both and once you get out of either one (hot stations), you don't wanna walk a minute or two to get to the cold stations. That "undoes" the benefits of hot stations and the philosophy of hot/cold treatments.
But, what I condemn the most is the interior rest area. It is, without a doubt, the nosiest rest area I have been to. Ironically, the noise comes from the employees themselves (massage therapists) who are just above the rest area and the rest area's door is kept open. I recommend that that particular door shuts automatically, as the noise is overwhelming and does not allow users to relax, which is the rest area's sole reason be to.
There was AGAIN another station which was under renovations (the major spa). I understand that maintenance is unavoidable, but, like the first time, there was an area of the spa which I could not use.
But, again, the spa has everything needed to be such a jewel for spa goers. It is very intimate, clean, ideally located, condensed, and complete.
I recommend this spa be visited during the summer months, as there are double to triple the rest areas outside as there is inside.

I played there few times but very narrow & difficult holes on 15-16-17
I personnaly like the setting but I know people who dont enjoy playing there.
They also make wedding receptions .The place would need some renovations &
maintenance to bring life into it.

First, I must say the location and building are unique and special. The bike store and attached Bistro are on the 'Petit train du nord' cycle path in the restored train station ... quite the 'gem' of a place. Over the last 5 years, we have sought services from this business for winter fat bike and summer eMTB rentals. Every time the service team was courteous, knowledgeable, consultative and bilingual. Shout out to Phil who took us through the recent purchase of 2 Trek e-MTBs. We called and shared photos over a few weeks to conclude on the requirements and price. We live in Ottawa, so Phil was sure to share all the information needed for us to be sure we would be satisfied after our 2 hour drive. Upon arrival, Phil was there to present the bikes, allow us to do a trial run, then work with us to equip them to our full satisfaction. Of the many bike shops, we would highly recommend this one!
