You can just sit and eat and enjoy the views, you can get some great hikes in (very easy to strenuous levels), take some photos, relax in the hammock area, and the kids can play in the playground area.
... for children age 10-17 I've been on a couple school trips to sea to sky gondola for science learning about glaciers and so on in the winter there's a sledding run and summer it's a great place to go with family

We drove from Kelowna to Whister (including with a 2 and 5 year old kids) and despite that everyone was tired from a long drive - we thoroughly enjoyed this amazing highway.

crystal clear spring water from the mountain, so nice clean and refreshing to be in summer, and walked to the trails and staying all day in the park for family BBQ picnic.
