Catch the Airport Express Bus on the ground level of the Sky Tower for only $17. You can purchase your ticket online or pay the driver with a credit card.

I had the pleasure of having Murray as my guide as I visited the museum in late July. The tour was supposed to last about an hour, but took quite a while longer, as Murray was more than happy to answer all my questions. I can warmly recommend everyone to book the guided tour, especially if you're in a bit of a hurry and haven't gotten the time to browser around for hours, but still want to know all the cool stuff.

Amazing views from this dormant volcano. Enjoyed the sights of Auckland. The walk around the crater was nice. Good place to contemplate too

Definitely should take time out of your trip to visit! My mom and I rented a car and drove up from Auckland and were so glad we did. Not only are the gardens, sculptures, paintings and art incredible but as is the staff that work there. The restaurant on site was mouthwateringly delicious as well, great way to spend your day

A really special place which is well worth a visit if you're on the North Island of NZ. The tour from Vishwa was awesome too.

Always a bit of a moral decision when considering visiting a zoo as they try to balance animal welfare with people education and species conservation. I think the Auckland zoo really has the balance right for me.
It is around 20 years since I last visited it and I am so impressed with how the environments have been improved for the animals, and how informative and educational the signage was around the animals. I took my three nephews and they learned plenty while being fully engaged in seeing different animals for the over four hours we visited. There were also plenty of volunteers on hand to answer any questions and help spot some of the harder to find animals on a cold winter day.

Interesting to walk along and near the wharf and water. So busy even with nothing in particular happening. Great food available.

The views at the end make it worthwhile. Given there is only one feasible way up, as well as everyone arriving on the same boat, expect some foot traffic on the way up. Would recommend going back down a different (less direct) route for a more peaceful walk. It is a lovely escape from the city, and would definately take advantage of stopping off in Devenport on your return.

It's a great walk in which you get to walk amongst the sheep and cows. At the end of the track is a great ice cream shop. This is a great nature walk away from the city while still in the city!

A fantastic journey through New Zealand’s maritime history that captivated my attention from the beginning of my tour to the end.

I’m not a sailing or boating enthusiast but the series of well curated exhibits kept me interested all through my time there.

The build up hype we received did not live up to it. The place is great for kids but it has seen better days. We are glad we went but it was a little disappointing.

Good views across Auckland. Although you can walk to the top, it is safer by car. Good place to visit as part of a trip to Cornwall Park.

Make this place your first stop when visiting the Waitakere Ranges. The park rangers will inform which trails are currently closed due to kauri dieback disease. Lots of cool displays and some lovely souvenirs. Then head out to the Arataki Trail located near the visitor center and walk to the Cathedral Grove of kauri trees - absolutely magical to visit these ancient trees. The walk is easy and well-posted, should be easy for anyone of reasonable fitness. Please respect this place by cleaning your shoes going in and out. We sat and scrubbed our hiking boots at the cleaning station. Kauri dieback disease is terrible and has no known cure. You can actually see these wonderful trees bleeding. Totally enjoyed this walk - our very first one in New Zealand!

    Absolute love the park 😊
10 min bus ride from Auckland CBD . Park houses war museum and winter garden .
Park has so much to offer to both, locals and tourists, regardless of the time of the year. Whether you are a museum and history lover, botanical and animal lover, or prefer activities like walking, running or playing rugby, you will find fun in this massive park.
On-site restaurant also one in museum . Plenty to do . You can spend easily few hours !
