Catch the Airport Express Bus on the ground level of the Sky Tower for only $17. You can purchase your ticket online or pay the driver with a credit card.

Amazing views from this dormant volcano. Enjoyed the sights of Auckland. The walk around the crater was nice. Good place to contemplate too

A really special place which is well worth a visit if you're on the North Island of NZ. The tour from Vishwa was awesome too.

Interesting to walk along and near the wharf and water. So busy even with nothing in particular happening. Great food available.

The views at the end make it worthwhile. Given there is only one feasible way up, as well as everyone arriving on the same boat, expect some foot traffic on the way up. Would recommend going back down a different (less direct) route for a more peaceful walk. It is a lovely escape from the city, and would definately take advantage of stopping off in Devenport on your return.

It's a great walk in which you get to walk amongst the sheep and cows. At the end of the track is a great ice cream shop. This is a great nature walk away from the city while still in the city!

Good views across Auckland. Although you can walk to the top, it is safer by car. Good place to visit as part of a trip to Cornwall Park.

Make this place your first stop when visiting the Waitakere Ranges. The park rangers will inform which trails are currently closed due to kauri dieback disease. Lots of cool displays and some lovely souvenirs. Then head out to the Arataki Trail located near the visitor center and walk to the Cathedral Grove of kauri trees - absolutely magical to visit these ancient trees. The walk is easy and well-posted, should be easy for anyone of reasonable fitness. Please respect this place by cleaning your shoes going in and out. We sat and scrubbed our hiking boots at the cleaning station. Kauri dieback disease is terrible and has no known cure. You can actually see these wonderful trees bleeding. Totally enjoyed this walk - our very first one in New Zealand!

The trail is beautiful, the artwork is magnificent and it all comes together in perfect harmony. We only had about 50 minutes to do the trail, when we had planned for 1.5 hours. I’d say definitely give yourself 1.5 hours and 2 hours would be easy to spend there.

This well maintained park is near the Art Museum and University of Auckland. In here there are quite a few places to sit and relax. There are some nice statues and sculptures. We enjoyed the view of the many nearby towers including the clock tower of the university and the Sky Tower.

Absolutely wonderful to visit these amazing birds to view them up close but without disturbing them. This colony of gannets is located about 40 minutes from Auckland and is a "must" for nature lovers. We totally enjoyed watching the birds zoom around in the wind and protect their little chicks. Lots of fun!

I live in Warkworth but never been here until I’ve needed some unique presents to take overseas with me. Bought a necklace for my sister in law and she loved it, everyone complimented on it. Thanks! Happy to support local.

Amazing nature reserve to camp at. You need a code to enter on a lock pad on the gate (code received after booking). A predator fence protects the many birds, and I mean many (pokeku, pheasants, kiwis, pigeons, owls). The road is windy and narrow to access the park. Beautiful beach views, walks, sand dunes.

Pit style toilets, soap and water provided at the bathrooms. Lots of open space in the paddock to camp. Tons of bird life and bird life noises from the forest. Peaceful and relaxing.

I had a wonderful evening here with friends recently. The climate was balmy and the walks were fantastic. We ascended and were gobsmacked by the quality of the views. the Signalman's house that is now the Michael King Writer in Residence property was also a major highlight!
