- paul carnahanAuckland, New Zealand2 contributionsThe skipper very informative on the Islands Coppermine. Skipper spoke about the history of each nsy we dropped off parcels in.
Was suppose to be a BBQ onboard lunch but to factors outside their control we ate on the Islands cafe at Kawau Island,Mansion House Bay. Absolutly perfectly cooked steak/salmon with salad and a fresh roll.
Lovely walks nearby and a must do visit The Mansion House.Written April 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Even though weather conditions weren’t great, Skipper Connor with his great knowledge and experience can through with a great day’s fishing. Freezer is full! Great fun, definitely recommend Connor and the team🤙Written January 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Samantha PChristchurch, New Zealand5 contributionsBest day ever! The SailFit luxury wellness day retreat in New Zealand was unforgettable and one of the best days I've had in a long time!
The SailFit coaches were so kind, professional and inspiring. The luxury yacht was EPIC! And, of course, the scenery was unbelievably gorgeous.
Best moment of the day (albeit so hard to just choose one) was doing beach yoga on Rotoroa Island with the salt in my hair, sun on my skin and good vibes that made this crazy world feel alright again :)Written March 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He is overflowing with knowledge of the wider Gulf and of course the fish and other sea life to be found around our shores.
His fishing gear is excellent and varied, and the use of soft bait means fishing is a less messy enterprise. We caught plenty of fish after lots of hard work by Nik.
We were a work related group of 7 and were comfortably accommodated on Nik's boat. We went from Whangaparoa, although you can go out from Westhaven, which is an easy early morning drive from Auckland - and the parking is free.
All in all a great trip. Many thanks to Nik for providing a fantastic day out on the Gulf . Will definitely do it again.Written January 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Hours on a comfortable coach bus between destinations were pleasantly passed with informative narration, storIes, jokes, and interesting facts by bus driver Rachael. Would definitely recommend this tour!Written February 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
