This was the fourth of four stops on our ad hoc Waiheke Island winery tour. We arrived around 4 p.m. without reservations looking to do a wine tasting. The restaurant/pub was an open air covered pavillion structure - furnished with very comfortable seating I would add. The grounds were set up for a number of outdoor activities which was interesting and a very large group was already seated with festivities on-going. It is easy to see this is not your average winery/brew pub. After checking out the wines available for tasting, we switched to beer - a very good call on our part. We reviewed the available beers with our server and set about ordering flights of beer and appetizers for the table. It was a visit with good beer, good food, great service in a unique setting. We HIGHLY recommend this vineyard/craft brewery for your own wine/beer tasting tour.Written December 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robert HPorirua, New Zealand54 contributionsWe tasted a few samples of novel beer flavours and then bought the favourites and ordered delicious burgers and fries to take away. The service was engaging and attentive, with a genuine interest in our reflections and taste experiences.
I have visited before for food and drink and have always been pleased I did.Written June 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. For groups of 6 or more, they offer tours of the brewery, conducted with flair and humor. The brewery also sells beer by the keg. This is a good place to get to know the locals too.Written April 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason F27 contributionsA wet Sunday afternoon was brightened up by spending a couple of hours in this craft ale paradise - enjoyed a paddle of 6 different beers of varying styles and strengths. - Karla TSantiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic12 contributionsJust like a craft beer brewery, this is sort of like a kombucha bar. They make everything and everything is organic and fair trade. The kombuchas are great the staff is amazing. Me and my husband sat at the bar and tasted their flight and had a pleasant conversation.Written December 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
